Freshest anchovies I’ve ever encountered.
Delicious, best canned anchovies I’ve had. So many things to make with them or straight out of the tin. Angel hair pasta and a tin makes a delicious healthy meal. Lots of protein , omega threat level, lol So many beneficial omega oils inside. Healthy skin, no brain fog, no preservatives to zombify yourself. Always have a run on hand.

Not super salty like regular anchovies
They're so gooood! It's a whole anchovy, gutted, deboned. It's not a filet like what you might be used to. Also, it's not super salty like a tin of anchovy you may buy at a store for your pizza. It's much milder, but still rich in flavor. I like to mix it with kimchi and rice! It's sooo good!!!! The calories to protein ratio is also really great.

Delightfully Mild Anchovies, Deceptively Named but Decidedly Delicious
These anchovies from Patagonia Provisions are undeniably toothsome, though mild enough to satisfy tender palates. Their quality appears respectable, though one might quibble about their deceptive hue, which is not exactly white. Happily free from excessive saltiness characteristic of lesser anchovies, they rest gently in an olive oil of superior caliber.

Delicious.
Delicious small anchovies (not filets). Not as salty as the usual anchovies, and these can be eaten more like sardines. Not as garlicky as I would have liked, but still good.

Changed my mind about anchovies
The only reason I’m writing this review is to say how this tin of anchovies changed my mind about anchovies. To date, all I’ve had are the ones a restaurant put on pizza and I found them rather gross—too fishy, weird texture, low-quality, and just unpleasant. In fact, those pizza anchovies were disgusting. These were quite the opposite—reminded me of light tuna in olive oil in terms of taste and texture. I get it now. I saw an online video review and took a shot and, yes, these were surprisingly good. I do think they were not very spicy despite the box saying “Spicy White Anchovies” but they did have some tongue-tingle. Maybe all my “make me pay for bad choices” comments at my favorite Indian takeout restaurants has adjusted what I think of as “spicy” but, overall, these were flavorful and I paired them with plain scrambled eggs in a wrap. I’m pleased. Didn’t give 4 or 5 stars because these were crazy expensive (they come up 33% cheaper elsewhere) and they needed more spice, but I felt compelled to write a review immediately after eating because, yes, they changed my mind about anchovies.

Tasty, not spicy
Tasty, not very spicy. They taste very much like sardines, but are a different fish. The sauce is good, not very spicy, and I am a wimp for spicy foods. They aren't hairy like the anchovies you may find on a pizza. Try them. If you like sardines, you'll like these.

Look exactly like SARDINES
Look EXACTLY like SARDINES. Fell apart, not salty, mushy. I don't think these are anchovies. I made my dressing but had to add a lot of extra ingredients for that punchy flavor. Not cheap either. They are also way too big to be anchovies.

Quality tinned anchovies
Tasty addition to pasta or Caesar salad, not as salty as others which to me is a good thing!
