When I first saw it, I thought it was too small, smaller than the photo would imply. However, when I installed it on the car seat, it fit perfectly! It's cool and comfortable. I usually do not get in the car then get back sweat while seated. Usually, I get in the car sweaty to begin with. This air mesh seat cushion prevents my sweat from soaking into the car seat and getting it all stinky. I hope it's durable and lasts a while.

I recently purchased a large 54" cut, TORO brand, "ride on", "zero-turn" lawn mower. The large vinyl seat has shock absorbers and is very cushy and comfortable. However, directly behind the seat, is a huge 26 horse power air cooled engine that puts off a ton of heat, which radiates right back into the seat! I remembered the sorts of cushions that my Dad used to use in the summer, in our non-airconditioned cars back in the 60's. As others have noted, these polymer constructed cushions aren't quite as good as the older metal coil spring constructed models. My mower seat has none of the usual automotive connection points for the cushion, so I simply used some various length, cheap fabric type bungie cords to connect the cushion to the mower seat. (This attachment means could work for cars as well.) Having mowed in this (2025) summer's 90 degree heat several times now, WOW what a difference this cushion makes! My butt and back of my shirt are no longer drenched with sweat. The manufacture should promote these for mower and tractor seats in addition to automotive applications.

Works as intended - to create space between the back of the seat and the back of my body so air circulates there and I don't get sweaty when it's warm, or when I want the AC to get to my back. One thing I wish was better: the width could be at least an inch or 2 wider. It's made of woven plastic and there's a spot where an end of a strand of the plastic on the back part sticks out and pokes me on my back by my armpit when I move. Can't seem to get to it to cut it or rearrange it, so I have to try to adjust the whole seat so it doesn't do that, but eventually it reverts back to that position and pokes me again. Other than that, for the price it does what I want. There are straps that are supposed to be for tethering it but they're useless and I can't use them, so it just sits on my car seat without being anchored. It doesn't move around and only moves slightly when getting in or out. It's the only breathable car seat that fits my seat. Tried a couple others and they were way too wide. Although this is narrow enough, it still could be an inch or so wider so the outer part of my legs aren't sitting on the edge of this thing. Sometimes it's noticeable and gets uncomfortable, but as I said, it's the only one that fits my seat. Oh, yeah, the seat could be a little shorter also, It hangs over the edge of my seat by about an inch and a half, in effect extending my seat. Tried bending it to mold to the front edge of my seat but it's only getting that way through use, so it's not as bothersome as it was. Used to it now, so the only thing that still bothers me is getting stuck by that piece of plastic that sticks out!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: wanted something similar to the old style king coil cushions that noboby makes anymore. Cooling effect: awesome Thickness: appx 3/8" (10 mm) I installed this in a Isuzu box truck i use to deliver bread. They have large a windshield that acts like a greenhouse so when you get in the truck to travel to next stop its HOT. You can instantly feel the air moving between you and the seat. These trucks have highback seats that the headrest is not seperate so i just used a short bungee cord to loop behind the seat hooked into the headrest loops on the cushion. Its function over fashion but this is a work truck . the midback strap slid over seat just fine , it has 2 discs that hold the bottom they worked fine, the other retainer strap hooks under the seat..

Seems well made and likely sturdy! Attachment to the seat needs to be improvised.

Makes a world of difference! I have a convertible with black vinyl seats that would leave my back and pants hot and soaked with sweat. This seat cushion allows air movement between my body and seat surface making driving so much more comfortable. The cushion was super easy to install, and the provided straps keep it held in place. I am extremely happy with this purchase and recommend this cushion to anyone looking for a more enjoyable driving experience!

I had such high hopes for this product. It does keep you cooler and allows air to circulate. It states it can either go in a vehicle or on a wheelchair or a desk chair. It is better suited to a wheelchair or desk chair as it doesn’t really have strapping that’s appropriate for a good fit in a vehicle. If the manufacturer had a better fit for a vehicle, I would give it 5 stars. It’s very comfortable sit on and it’s lightweight.

The mesh car seat is uncomfortable and does not fit as I would like. It comes with small elastic straps that do not securely hold the mat in place. However, if you can deal with those inconveniences you will like the mat because it keeps you cool.

this was to keep my husband's back cool while sitting ina lounge chair. it does the job very well and he loves it.

I bought this for my 91 year old father who was developing a severe skin infection due to sitting in his recliner and sweating. Bought this cushion and the rash went away within a couple of days.

The seat cover works great in my 2016 toyota corolla. Easy to install, comfortable, and keeps me cool. Also some additional custom fees were added during shipping that the seller refunded right away.
