These barbs worked well when I installed my irrigation system. They are 1/4" fittings and work well on 1/4" tubing. Some say that it's easier to put the end of the tubing into hot water before attempting to attach it to one of these connections, yet I had no problem just pushing the hose into the fitting without heating the end. Either way, they get the job done and at a great price.

More than I will use in a lifetime, but I am willing to share.

These worked well for my irrigation system changes. Nice big pack with more connectors than I’ll ever need, but now I’ll always have the correct part on hand the next time repairs are needed.Very happy with the purchase and the price.

I've installed drip irrigation in many gardens over the years and have always bought my supplies from big box stores. However, the small number of connectors per pack and the much higher prices now make this very expensive. I bought this item because of the variety and number of connectors you get for the price. In the past, I've found all drip connectors to be pretty much the same and these are generally no different.However, the Tees and 4-way Crosses are quite different. They aren't really "barbed" connectors as the shape of the "barbs" is more like a pair of speed bumps. I discovered this difference makes them very difficult to use. Even on the 85+ degree days that softened the tubing and using pliers to hold the connectors, I wasn't able to push the tubing over the second "barb". This is usually relatively easy to do on truly barbed connectors. By the time I finished, my fingers were sore and callused from the effort to hold the tubing while inserting these connectors. While they do the job they are made for, I can't recommed them. You will find ones with true barbs much easier to use.Overall, this is an OK connector set, just not an excellent one because of the effort needed to use some of the connectors.

I am glad I ordered this kit along with the base drip irrigation kit I ordered. I used these rather than the ones the kit came with as they are nicely arranged in the box and easy to grab. These gave me a ton of options and flexibility to design my drip irrigation system. Easy to use and both of the brands of 1/4 tube's I bought worked well with them.

I kept trying to buy what I needed to install a drip irrigation system while bewildered by the whole process. I can't tell you how many tiny fittings I've lost because I didn't have an organized way of keeping them until I needed them. I could have saved a lot of money getting this big kit to start with. It's inexpensive enough, and idiot-proof enough, that it's worth the peace of mind having it in my garden shed. Just know that you really do need to soak your lines in hot water before trying to install these barbed fittings into lines, and be sure you get a good tubing cutter and punch or you'll be sorry.
