Totally unnecessary BUT totally awesome!
I tossed it in my edc bag and only ever intended to use it for the occasional tree lodged frisbee retrieval, but the magnetic end makes for handy additional retrieval uses as well! I wouldn't recommend putting more than a few pounds of anything on the hook end, but it is nice that it came with extra pins.

Very neat, but not so accurately made.
Not use in anger, fortunately… however just spent 3 hours carefully grinding down and then polishing the spare set of pins that were eve so slightly too large. Manufacturer, as based in The USA, wouldn’t ship a replacement, fair enough I guess.

Just….YES
When my wife saw me open this, there was a lot of confusion. As I explained it, it only got worse….I slept on the couch that night, but I am prepared with a grappling hook in my bugout bag. Worth it!
