Absolutely Superb for anime fun. It's perfect. Looks amazing! I am 5" 9" - 12St-10Lb Medium build & I chose the correct size: 2x Extra large. I have quite wide shoulders & there was enough room. Apron part felt a little short for the dress part though. All in all I am delighted with this purchase & it's good value for money. My only criticism is, I'd have preferred a maid hat instead of the silly panda ears! Oh! get a tutu to fill it out! ordered one & maid hat from a different sellers! Now for lots *& lots of cosplay/anime fun!

I spent weeks trying to decide which of the many french maid costumes to go for and settled on this one as it's one of the cutest and has potential to be a bit naughty without being too revealing or scandalous. I also wanted to pair it with some furry ears anyway and as they are included it made up for it being a bit more expensive than some of the others. I went for an S after reading other reviews despite usually being an M/10 and having never worn S in my life. The sizing seems to be aimed at short, plus-size people. Just laying it out flat it looks disproportionately wide for the length. I'm about 5'8", 28-inch waist (on a good day). The shoulders and sleeves are perfect but the waist is very generous, I certainly wouldn't have wanted anything larger yet the top part is too short and the waist is half way up my chest. I was a bit disappointed when I first tried it on as it had so much potential but looked like I was wearing a child's costume. The trick is to wear it off the shoulder which allows me to pull it down far enough so the waist is just about on my actual waist - it looked so good once I did that but you might have to loosen the zip a little to make room at the top, even for average-size boobs. The apron size matches the dress perfectly, so has the same issue with being too high up. You can either just tie it round your waist and leave the straps hanging or tucked in underneath or make some alterations. I cut the straps at the back and stitched in some black ribbon to extend them by about 40cm. I could then tie a knot in the ribbon to adjust the straps to the length I needed. You could probably get away with a hot glue gun if you don't sew. Once all that's done, it looks spectacular! I am so happy with it, it just takes a bit of work and imagination to get there. The quality of the dress and apron seems pretty decent though it does need ironing out of the packet. The fabric is a good thickness and weight though being artificial it has no give and there is no leeway to stretch it. The black stripes are all stitched ribbon rather than printed, which is a surprising detail. I haven't had any issues with the zip. Concealed zips are always a bit fiddly but I can do it up and just about undo it by myself without breaking it. The collar fits me perfectly and sets off the whole outfit nicely. The ears have cute little bells that jingle but I had trouble keeping it in place without a couple of clips. The gloves fit perfectly despite looking small and the garters only stay in place if I wear them above the hemline but a safety pin can be used to tighten them up. I haven't tried the socks as I already have some. I definitely recommend this because it looks really stunning, but size down and be prepared to make some alterations to look your best. If you are 5'2" with a 34" waist, S will probably be a perfect fit. Otherwise it's a trade-off between being too short or too loose. Shortly after ordering I got a notification from Amazon: Based on your recent purchase we thought you'd like household cleaning products. Lol.

I had a maid costume before, but then I saw this! Definitely glad I got this one. Really cute accessories. The tights did not fit unfortunately, however the rest of the costume was perfect. I got the regular size I’d go for (I’m UK based). I would have gone down 1 more size, but it’s really up to you how you want it to fit.

I’m usually a UK 18 and after measuring myself it seemed like the 4XL would fit but I was worried about the bust particularly so went for 5XL. When it arrived it actually was a little big, so the measurement chart is accurate! Still I’d rather have something a little big than a dress that didn’t fit - you can always tighten up the apron to give it a more defined shape. I’ve never ever found any anime style maid dresses in my size. I was so pleased - the accessories are very cute, but the stockings and gloves were too small (I didn’t really want or need the gloves, so that’s fine). The material is what you expect, but it isn’t overly warm like some polyester stuff and the apron is actually quite nice material. It took me a bit to figure out how to put the apron on properly so best if someone helps you do this. The dress is also pretty modest - the length is great for cosplay events without feeling too exposed. I might buy a petticoat to get the full circle skirt effect, but seriously for £42 I was impressed with the quality and sizing. The cat ears and collar thingy are also super cute and well made. Perfect for my Halloween costume and I would definitely go to conventions in it in future!

I decided to get the 3XL just in case. I can't trust buying clothes online due to sizing. I once brought a Halloween dress which I thought was size 18 but ended up a size 10 I guess that was in an Asian sizes. But anyway glad I did, the fabric wasn't elasticated and I have a DD bust size it was a bit of a stuggle to get on. But I didn't need to use the zipper. Was a bit confused with the apron but figured it our in the end. Not too sure about the choker, still cute, but a bit tight for my liking. The cuffs kept on slipping but still once you buttoned them they would some what fit. Other than that. This dress is adorable and perfect to wear with my petticoat which I use with my 50 style dresses. The petticoat still shows but it actually works with the frills of the dress and accessories. Was thinking of getting into cosplay for a while, this is a start. Now I need to get cute or should I say keweii sorry for the spelling. also I expected it not be shaped so it wasn't a disappointment and that's good.

I like it! I only wore the dress part by the time I finally got the apron on I couldn’t be bothered putting the other bits and bobs on. It took me an hour to figure out how you put the apron on…. I was honestly surprised that the material is decent for being cheap material. It’s not itchy, quite comfy. I think it’s worth the money If you’re interested in buying this and you get it but struggling with the apron. Put the straps on your shoulders (like you’re about to put a jumper on arms through sort of thing) then you want to put one strap over your head and then the other over your head. After that you just need to adjust it and you should have it on correctly. I hope I described it right.

way too tight, no stretch

Bought it for a friend's cosplay. Dress is great, the fit is exactly as advertised. A bit big, but that's on our part as we got the wrong size, but it still works for what we need it for. Ears are really soft and cute too.

I'm a standard 2x and the 2x size was so big on me. It's alright. Decently made. Worked for my haloween costume fine.

I ordered this for a performance. It arrived quickly and the quality surprised me. For the price the stitching and material surpassed my expectations. The dress itself fit well. The only issue is the accessories sizing was not as good as the dress. The apron was very small and I had to do several alterations to make it fit as it shows in the picture. The cuffs were larger then expected and were very loose. Overall I am happy with this.
