I got this to use when I get up in the middle of the night so I don’t disturb my housemate. It does the job perfectly! The dimmest setting is bright enough to see my way around, while the brightest is good for reading. The two settings in between are good mood lighting for late night, and cover the whole room. And the lantern design is just fun to carry, like a lighthouse keeper of old. The only flaw, and it’s minor, is the lack of a charging indicator light. Other reviewers complained about it failing to charge and I’d guess that it just wasn’t plugged in tightly. An understandable mistake since the user has no way of knowing if it’s charging or not. (It’s also missing a battery level indicator.) On the other hand, the battery life itself appears good, as I’ve used it every night for a week on just the initial overnight charge.

I love that it has three brightness settings and how easy it is to turn it on and off. The charging hold for a long, long time many many hours. It is beautiful. I have the white.

This light is going right in my hurricane kit. It will be a game changer when lights go out. The quality is great, it’s sleek looking it’s easy to use, it’s just a touch away from having light.

Bought this lamp (white/brass) when it was on sale during Black Friday, worked perfectly for the 1st month, then suddenly stopped working - won't charge or light up. Always used indoors next to my bed. After explaining the situation to an Amazon rep, they offered me a refund but with a restocking fee. They would not budge on the restocking fee, but I was able to get them to give me Amazon credit for the fee cost. Highly recommend everyone who had the same experience to get their money back from this scam company!! Better off, avoid buying in the first place. (I was tempted because I first saw this item on MoMA's website, but it's not worth the hassle!)

Purchased in September 2020. Sweet light… nice mood. But now the lamp has issues with the light …flashing in and out, almost as if there was a electrical short. Idk. Going to contact the company and see if they have a remedy or if other customers have reported this issue.

This is a very bright light on high, which will be nice in a power failure. The dimmer is a nice feature. I just wish the usb cord had been longer, I will have to replace that.

We suffer many electricity outages so I bought different lanterns for everyone to use. I'm looking for my favorite product. Out of the many lanterns I bought, this is by far the best looking one. It is sturdy, and sleek. It puts off a warm light and has 4 light settings. The lanterns lasted about 12 hours on the medium setting. The only thing I do not like is that there are no charge lights to let you know if it is fully charged. You just charge it for 8 hours and put it up for storing. The other thing - turning it on wasn't intuitive. Once I figured it out it is nice. It is a touch lantern - the nob on the top of the lantern, lightly touch it and it comes on. Touch it 3 more times and it brightens each tap. Then it will turn off on the last long tap. You will not be disappointed. Out of 4 lanterns it is my favorite soft light. These are great great gifts for campers or parents that need lighting around the house at night when going to the restroom.

I bought this 5 months ago. I loved it. It was my companion for most of the time. The loved the warm light it gave and how it was chargeable and light to carry. So I would take it with me on the balcony, in my bedroom etc.. ofcourse it's design was beautiful also. But few weeks ago, the battery stopped charging which meant it doesn't have a life span beyond 5 months? It's a shame cause it's an amazing product otherwise. Unless the one I got had a defective battery?
