Regarding difficulty in screwing the lids on. I was informed by a chef that rubbing a little Vaseline on only the inside grooves of each lid will work eliminate this problem. I tried it and it works extremely well. Remember to reapply the Vaseline after washing the lids.

I bought this set of salt and pepper shakers to keep by my stove. The lids are a little hard to screw back on properly, but once accomplished they stay on tight. A good amount of salt and pepper shakes out which is needed when cooking. I do wish the handles were a little more comfortable, a more rounded handle would be more comfortable to hold. But overall, I do like the shakers and believe they are good quality.

These are the same ones my grandma kept on her stove to “season as she went along” way back in the 50’s and 60’s! Love their sturdiness.

Tops are hard to get on and often gets cross threaded. Had 3 different sets and each one does the same thing.

I bought these shakers to use on my stove for everyday cooking. I wanted something that would hold a lot so I didn't feel like I was constantly filling them up. I also wanted something that was easy to fill as my last ones had lids that just pushed on and they got stuck a lot. These easily screw on and off. Exactly what I was looking for. A+

These salt and pepper shakers are great. I using these for cooking and they look nice on top of the stove.

Je ne recommande pas du tout cet ensemble! Après 2 mois d’utilisation seulement, j’ai ouvert ma salière pour prendre une certaine quantité de sel et j’ai trouvé ça! Ce sont des soit de rouille!!! J’ai été obligé de tout jeter, le sel compris! Nous n’avons jamais échappé ou laver la salière avec de l’eau. La rouille se serait formée suite à l’humidité...bref je ne recommande vraiment pas ce produit, vraiment déçu...

It’s very difficult to get the lids off to fill them without damaging the product.
