Better than more famous booklets, in some aspects
Although it is not a very well known book to PACES candidates, it is good in coverings aspects and filling gaps not filled by some more well known booklets used for PACES preparation.Concise enough to be read several times in a short window of time.Still it is not adapted to show how EACH of the 7 skills should be perfectly tackled. (Most other books don't anyway)

and easy to read and absorb information
Covers stations 1,2,3 and 4 well, and easy to read and absorb information.

Helpful but flawed
The clinical scenarios are concise but highlight important things to look for in common PACES cases. The book fits very easily into my work bag, unlike Hall or the OST book. However, there is no index or contents page which means that each time you want to use it on the wards you have to flick through laboriously to find a corresponding case to the patient you have just seen.
