Q: Are these insoles true to size? i usually wear a mens 9.5(us)

I wear a size 12 Salomon XD Pro. I bought the 11-12.5 insoles and they fit perfectly. Keep in mind, these insoles are an 11-12.5 and they fit perfectly in my size 12 shoes, therefore, if my shoes were a 12.5, these insoles would be slightly too small for my shoes. I would recommend if you are on the cusp of the high end of the size, order up. You can always trim them down.

Q: Is the arch rigid, soft, or flexible

flexible , but the size is off by -.5 "example 8.5 (my size) is only 8"

There are different Sof Sols inserts for different activities -- I purchased the one for impact aerobics. So, not familiar with other styles.
