Battery life = 22+ hours! Brake light excellent. Easy to put on/off
Purchased and reviewed side-by-side with the Ascher Ultra Bright USB Rechargeble Bike Light Set and the BX-300 Rechargeable Bike light set (also USB).I've had these a little over a month now and riding several miles each day since, here's my input:The XOSS LEADBIKE LD09 Smart Bike Tail Light is slightly less money than the Ashcher Ultra Bright set, and a couple dollars more than the BX-300 set. They, of course have both a front/white light and come with a separate red(and/or white) flashing/static back light. Although I'm now using those for the back of my helmet as additional visual aids I am extremely pleased with the performance of this tail light. Even though it's about the same price as a front/back light combo. It works as advertised. With 6 different blinking/static modes. It's about the same brightness as the Asher backlight but about half as bright as the BX-300 backlight - at least when flashing. But when the BRAKE LIGHT feature comes on it's about the same brightness. (Ok, still not even close to the brightness of any of the BX-300 *white light* modes). So, because of that, the single most important reason to purchase this in addition to any other light sets is that autobraking/sensing feature that makes the light shine really brightly while stopping or slowing down. And then it goes back to flashing.totally worth it. Plus it lasted 22+ hours in flashing mode compared to about 6 1/2 for each of the other back lights.Yes, I recommend it.Yes, I would buy it again.*Note: the picture is just to show it's actual size - about the size of an old US 50 half dollar.
