Frieling USA Zenker Ring Mold Pan for Mini Desserts, Nonstick

I wanted to make individual white cakes. The batter did not leak out of the molds. I sprayed them with baking spray (oil and flour). I filled them 2/3 full. I reduced the recipe temperature by 25 degrees because of the dark pans. They rose too high, and with funny shapes, and when I tested them they were like souffle on the inside. But with more time, they firmed into cakes. I had to trim off a fair amount and was left with 2-inch high cakes. You can see the untrimmed cakes in the back of the photo and the trimmed cake -- although it is brown on the outside, it is perfect on the inside. Next time I will fill only 1/2 full as I think they will rise better -- the depth of the batter was a problem, I think. I let them sit 10 minutes in the mold, then lifted off the rings which slid off easily. Then I simply lifted the cakes off the base, no problem! I hope this review is helpful.

Makes nice individual cheesecakes. No leaking, bake to 150°, removes nicely, add cake collar and top with fruit. Makes a classy dessert!

Good product

Very sturdy and good quality. They are very tall, great for mini breads, cakes or cheese cakes. The rings nestle nicely on the pan, but remember to tamp them down for a good seal. I nudged a couple accidentally and they slightly oozed a little cake batter but not enough to make a big mess. They do take a lot of batter on my first batch when I filled them 2/3 full, so the next time I used them, I only filled them 1/2 full. I would suggest a double batch of batter if you are going to use all 12. I really like how don't have to use a paper cupcake form. Just spay with any cooking spray and they come out easily after cooling a bit. Definitely recommend

I purchased this set specifically to make individual serves of Sernik a Polish cheesecake with a thick biscuit base, so I don't need recipes. These are a perfect size for what I require it for. I'm assuming that putting the biscuit base in first will eliminate any oozing. I can't imagine this oozing any more than a regular spring form pan as the fit was quite tight. I tried finding something similar in Australia but they were all too small. When they arrived at my work, my boss liked them so much I had to order a set for her!

They are a little larger that I thought. The product is very well made and it cleans very easily. I made mini pumpkin cake and they were a hit. The key is only fill the cup one third on half way.

I got one set of these for a gift. The most amazing individual desert maker. I normally make all my dessert in sets of 24 so i bought myself another one. You do not have to fill these full to the top. I make cheese cakes in them and i only fill them about 1.5in full. Makes the perfect size. I have had nothing but compliments when i serve the desserts.

Prodotto comodo per fare monoporzioni soprattutto perché ognuna ha la sua base. Occupa più spazio del dovuto quando se ne devono preparare poche, ma sono soddisfatta dell'acquisto per la robustezza praticità.

Tray arrived well packaged and quickly, they work lovely and I just cut out baking parchment circles for the bases. My only grievance is that I have to really push the outer rims of each individual holder into the base of the tray as they can tend to pop out of their raised bases annoying when you are about to scoop cake mix in them or when you store tray away. Having said that I still give this tray the thumbs up.
