Heavy-duty and very efficient
The VEVOR commercial vegetable chopper is a real time-saver in the kitchen. The stainless steel construction feels solid and built to last, and it handles potatoes, onions, and other vegetables with ease. The included replacement blades are sharp and make clean, uniform cuts every time—perfect for fries, dicing, and slicing. It’s easy to set up and clean, and works just as well for home use as it does in a restaurant setting. If you prep a lot of vegetables, this chopper is absolutely worth it.

Sizes are a little smaller than it says, but still tickled.
where it says 3/8", think 9.5 mm, where it says 1/2", think 12 mm, and 1/4 is a LOT smaller like maybe 5 mm, BUT perfect for making some hearty nice fresh hash browns, which was actually a big plus, imo. Cutting potatoes was AWESOME. I've purchased a number of various Vevor products. It cut fries for 9 mm easy and while being slightly bigger than 1/4" fries, they were just dandy cooked in the air fryer after a light toss in some veggie oil. I like smaller fries as the fatter ones don't cook as well in the air fryer. Was a piece of cake to assemble AND it cleaned up super easy. It was packed from the factory really well. This was an awesome investment. Dicing? We won't bother even trying it as it would be a pain to line up, but I won't mind finishing that on a cutting board. I love how it was designed and is a well built Kitchen aid, imo. 1st time fries, did it on wax paper, next time will put it in a bake pan so can oil the fries or hash browns. We'll also likely just prep some in advance and freeze them after they're lightly oiled and salted. This was one of my better ideas to invest in and worth every penny. I did make too many fries the 1st time, so a little veggie oil and into the freezer in a qt baggie for next time. It was definitely still a 5 star investment.

Great for fries
This works great for making fries with russet potatoes. The 1/4 blade is harder to use and takes more effort to push the potatoes through but still works. The bigger blades are easier to use. Very easy cleanup. Just rinse with water. You can make a batch of fries very quick This also works great for chopping onions or bell peppers

Wonderful addition to our kitchen
I recently walked into our kitchen and was surprised to see my wife meticulously cutting potatoes into French fries with a knife. As I watched her, I began to think about finding a more efficient way to help her out. I recalled using restaurant-style choppers and slicers in the past and decided to search for a suitable solution online. While there were several cheaper, plastic versions available, I opted for the heavy-duty VEVOR commercial vegetable chopper. This chopper came with four different blade types, and I ended up purchasing all of them - 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", and the apple corer blade. When I first showed the chopper to my wife, her reaction was unforgettable. She was initially upset with me for not getting it for her sooner, but once she saw it in action, her frustration turned into gratitude. The chopper made the task of cutting potatoes into perfect fries incredibly quick and simple. As a result, we've made numerous batches of delicious French fries together since acquiring the chopper. Using the glove provided, we simply peel the potato and place it on the slicer blade of our choice before pulling the handle. Within seconds, one potato is transformed into perfectly sliced fries, thanks to the sharp blades of the chopper. The utility of the chopper didn't end with just potatoes. Recently, I purchased a 50-pound bag of carrots for only $15. We proceeded to chop and freeze the carrots, and the results were astounding. By doing this, we calculated that a one-pound bag of frozen carrots, which typically costs $1 to $1.50, equated to savings of about $35 for us. The chopping process was made smoother as the kids pitched in to help peel and bag the carrots, and we managed to finish everything within an hour, thanks to the efficiency of the chopper. Overall, the VEVOR commercial vegetable chopper has proven to be a great asset in our kitchen. The impeccable quality and functionality of this product have made our cooking experiences more enjoyable and efficient.

Are blades are right way up? VERY SHARP - use work gloves. SWEET potatoes special way 2 cut.
Mine arrived with the 3/8 blades installed. (THE WRONG WAY UP). Mine was used but like new. I WONDER why it was returned. The previous buyer possibly tried to make fries, and was unable to push the potato thru. I looked at the blades before in made my fries and they seemed dull, when I felt underneath they where very sharp, and I cut my finger. Do not touch those surfaces the are razor sharp. There are two holding screws that hold the bladed in with a plate, mine faced upwards (WRONG) the should be down in the cut outs. Took it apart and made it the right way. (sharp edges up) read instructions. BE VERY VERY CAREFUL changing the blades is dangerous and can hurt you if you slip, make a mistake or make a wrong move. I would wear work gloves and have two people do it, one hold the base steady, while the other pulls off the blades holder. they are square and come in 1/4" 3/8" and 1/2" size blades to make thinner of thicker fries. Problem 2. Sweet potatoes are very hard, it will not cut them. So I tried in half, (long wise) did not work, So sliced a bit off top and bottom of sweet potato off, then cut it in 4. Still it was very tough, so I turned the 1/4 potato so it looked like a spinning top and placed the biggest end up towards the handle and the pointy side down, so the 1/4 sweet potato looked like an invited triangle (Base on top) (Pointed side down on the blades) at it worked well like this. Its a well made item, but sweet potatoes need to be cut into 4 and inserted like an inverted triangle for it to cut. Hope this helps

Even diced tomatoes!!!
I literally just got this but I was so excited I wanted to post my video debut! I don't mind cooking but I hate having to dice things up so I did a lot of research and was hoping to find something that was electric that would dice anything from tomatoes to chicken. I couldn't find anything that I was confident was going to do what I needed to do and that was going to be in my price range so I finally caved and splurged on this manual dicer. I haven't really explored everything that it's going to do but like I said I mainly wanted to dice vegetables and other things for recipes. My true test was going to be if it would dice tomatoes so I posted this video to show how that went. Obviously this is a one smooth move smash to get this stuff to dice but it did a great job even with the tomatoes. It takes up some space as far as storage but I knew I had a spot for that but if you don't that might be an issue. Also my fiance has already decided that switching out the blades and stuff is going to be his job switching out the blades and stuff is going to be his job because he thinks it's a little complicated. I think if he shows me I'll be able to figure it out though so no worries. I don't really like that the blades can't go in the dishwasher and that I have to wash them by hand. I like to just put everything in the dishwasher but I guess these would rust. It kind of makes it hard because the blades are really sharp but they do give you like a little toothbrush thing that you can use. And considering I'm just going to be using this for vegetables and stuff like that I think it's good enough to just rent under the sink and maybe toss some dish soap over it and brush it. Haven't used it more than a few minutes but it's looking promising

Great for Bulk Apple Prep
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great for Bulk Apple Prep – Effortless and Sturdy I purchased the VEVOR Commercial Vegetable Chopper specifically for cutting and coring apples in large quantities, and it absolutely delivered. I recently ran 40 pounds of apples through it, and it cut like butter. The ergonomic pull-down handle really does the work for you — no excessive force needed and no sore arms afterward. The unit feels very sturdy and stable while in use, and the non-slip feet keep it securely in place on the counter. The blades are sharp and clean-cutting, and I appreciate that it comes with multiple size options plus spare blades. For bulk food prep, especially if you’re running a small food business or doing large-batch canning, this is a huge time saver. As a real-world example of how smooth it operates: with close supervision, even my 4-year-old was able to pull the handle down to slice apples. That’s how easy the leverage system makes it. I haven’t tried the French fry cutter attachment yet, but for apples alone, this has been a fantastic investment. Highly recommend for anyone processing large amounts of produce.
