High yield, easy to read and filled with useful mnemonics
I used this book as my only resource. I was able to pass and felt confident after taking the exam. It was uncanny how high-yield the information was, and I really enjoyed the organization and layout of the book. The book is densely packed with mnemonics, some of which were pretty off the wall (and it's obvious that they were shoehorned in more than a few places), but there were several questions I would probably have missed without them. Not suitable as a primary text for someone who hasn't had a lot of exposure, but it was a fantastic refresher and high-yield cram book.

Great Board Review
Very comprehensive review. It has every important detail in a very hilarious and easy to remember format. It gives you hints and is very complete, and up to date. Amazon made one mistake: it is not from 1900!! It is from 2013!I am also using my old Neurology for the Boards, that I used when I took the board ten yrs ago, that has my old notes. But this book is more up to date and has more information. It is a keeper.

Not great
This review book is neither a detailed, nor a convenient review. It is a sort of clumsy bumbling through a variety of topics but without the high yield or humor it promises. It has WAY too many pages for the content. The mnemonics are weak and forgettable and despite headache being the most common reason for referral to a neurologist and 4-6% of the ABPN, this book has no headache chapter. In fact headache isn't even in the index. All in all, not worth the money.

Probably the best "quick and dirty" review book I've found for the neurology boards. Obviously it's not nearly enough to make you a competent neurologist, but it's a decent review and might help get a few extra points on the test.
