I purchased this item thinking I would enjoy it. It has to be angled with the IPhone (camera not in the center) tripod does not tighten well (strike 2!) and I did not like the way the picture came out I guess overall once you zoom in on the photo it's pretty cool if the monocular or phone doesn’t slip. my opinion is a MEH. then the next day YES next day IT BROKE! ... The part where the tripod and monocular attach BROKE. IN THE OVERALL RATING IT PROMPTS YOU TO PICK A STAR AND I PICKED 1

Use these a few times in the “field” and they worked perfectly. I could have gone foe the $100-$200 one but these are fine and it’s not that serious. Let you know if you have a phone with multiple cameras this will give you problems as the phone auto switches cameras based on quality and focus.

My main reason for purchasing a monocular was to be able to get photos with my phone. The case I have is not thick or oversized but has a slightly rim around the perimeter. This is not unusual with phone cases. It prevents the monocular from sitting flat on the phone camera. It will also not clamp onto the phone securely so getting a photo is very difficult. The monocular itself is fine but will not work with all phones. I will probably keep the unit, but need to look elsewhere for one that will attach securely to my phone

I really like this scope, I think it will be nice to bring on trips to national parks this summer. I think it is a great value and would make a nice gift for anyone who enjoys sight seeing and bird or wildlife watching.

It looks good, but always remember that you get what you pay for. 10X-300X 40mm? Baloney. 10X-30X, maybe. If you’re looking for $200 quality then you definitely get your $20 value.

This thing does not zoom or focus well, it shows a circle and not full picture. Totally disappointed. However I did not pay that much for it. You get what you pay for.

Opened up and something was broken. I dont even know what yet. Will make a better review if it is corrected.

This was a Father’s Day gift for hubby. He absolutely loves it. Great view and easy to use with phone!
