Long term review
Been a few months since I acquired this phone, run it through my fairly intense routine. So far so good. The snapdragon 765G seems to keep up and the 12gb ram is honestly overkill. Checking the developer options I never seem to exceed 6-7gb in a day. But at least I know its got plenty of headroom.Oppo seems to be keeping it up to date, it now has their colorOS v11 (android 11) and it recieved the August security patch before July was over.ColorOS is a bit different from stock, which I would usually choose a phone for but honestly I have no complaints, it has nice granular app controls, efficient battery usage and the customisation options are top notch.Initially noticed a few crashes and a bit of stalling when using chrome but updates seem to have fixed that, so no need for concern.Speakers are solid as is the call quality, shame about the lack of the 3.5mm jack but I have wireless headphones so I've barely noticed the omission. No microsd slot either, just 256gb of ufs 3.0 storage around 242gb available. But this is well within my normal usage capacity.USB C + VOOC means the battery charges up real fast, I rarely charge overnight as a result, just an hour in the morning.I've not tried everything for the cameras yet but early tests (including my gimbal and my tripod) produced great results at 1080p, low light photography also works really well. The display looks amazing and gets super bright in overdriven sunlight mode so no complaints there, the corner camera punch out is unobtrusive. To cope with the curved sides and lack of bezels I installed SwiftKey to move the keyboard upwards and in a bit, giving me effectively the same experience as my old Sony xperia xa2.(typed this review from the oppo)So far so happy :)Will update my review if this changes.

Elegant and stylish
Really pleased with this phone. Took a chance after reading a lot of positive industry reviews and I'm really glad i did.PROS;1) Beautiful and elegant design. This a very slim and lightweight phone at 7.7mm and 171g. It feels good in the hand and is easy to operate with one hand. It really makes a lot of the iphones and samsungs out there look like unwieldy bricks.2) Lovely AMOLED screen, bright and colourful. On paper this should have been no better than my old samsung galaxy s7 edge, but it is3) Cameras. I'm still playing with the cameras but the results so far are impressive. The inclusion of an optical zoom is a nice touch and is what sold it me over the oneplus 8. The reviews I read generally praised the daylight performance of the cameras but reckoned the night mode performance didn't match the best. However I have been pleasantly surprised when taking practice shots at night.4) The processor. Believe it or not I'm talking about the 765G processor here. Although it's not the 865 in flag ship phones it performs brilliantly. One reviewer said in real terms it's like comparing an i9 equipped computer with an i7. Unless you are professionally playing the most advanced games you just won't notice. The big advantage with the 765G is it uses so much less battery life than the 865, which brings me on to my next point.5) Battery life. Although 4025 mah is not exactly a huge battery nowadays, by coupling it with the 765G processor, it lasts really well. I'm not a heavy phone user and I'm currently getting 2 full days. The charging is lightening fast - 0 - 100% in about an hour.Other highlights include stereo speakers which, whilst not loud, really do make a difference if you watch a film. Decent software which is not loaded with bloatware. Inclusion of a professionally applied screen protector and case. A two year warranty. Very quick and accurate fingerprint scanning and face recognition.CONS;These are relatively minor but worth mentioning;1) it is too easy to accidentally take screen shots.2) Ditto accidentally turning off the ring volume. Although I have sorted this with a volume lock app.3) The pricing structure. I bought this on Amazon Prime day when it was heavily reduced. However it was not the cheapest it has been here or elsewhere. It looks like the RRP has dropped now from £599 to £549 anyway, but the vast daily shifts in price below this point make it an exhausting process to know when to buy. Discounts of £50 you would expect but when the price is regularly discounted by more than £100 it just implies that the product was overpriced in the first place, and in this case I don't think it is.

Worked fine but is now broken in under two years.
Phone has worked well for over a year with few problems, this week has suddenly started to no longer display the screen randomly, it then randomly starts working again. While the screen is off, the phone works, just without displaying anything. It is as if the internal cables have come loose, normally a problem like this takes much over two years to appear.

OPPO Find X2 Neo 5G - Snapdragon
Purchased for $660 Australian Dollars, it came in from England, initial communication poor, stating initial delivery date of 3 or 4 weeks from purchase, heard nothing for about 8 or 9 days then email stating or was on its way, then a few days later got email stating it had been delivered & left on door step. Setting the phone up was easy, for a 3rd of the price on a top tier mobile I highly recommend, only issue was the usb charger came with English 3 pin plug only.

Had problem with sim card disconnecting once after only 2 weeks.
