When you need it - You Need it
Have a garden project - swapped out all the 1/2" garden hoses with irrigation tubing and still wanted to keep my soaker hoses. Also didn't want to buy a mass quantity of connectors when I only needed 4. This was perfect - I cut off the garden hose connectors from the soakers - connected the soakers via the barb hose bib to the tubing connected to faucet via a tubing/garden hose adapter - boom done. Bottom Line - no leaks where I don't want them! Finished off with Duck self-fusing tape to prevent water pressure from separating connection.

Exactly as described. Perfect fit to connect hose to fountain pump.

Not the same as pictured on Amazon , but they work
One barb ring each side, unlike the pic. They do work though.
