Why can't she just be a teen??
**{{Some Spoilers}}** Arianna has been through a lot in the last year, As her 17th birthday approaches she must deal with Boy issues and clan politics that they don't war her about until Oh BTW you were supposed to get Married by age 17..or at least formally engaged.. Devin and Andrew are still not best buds when it comes to Ari, and now she has other things going on.. Her Grandfather's murderer while she can't prove it is pressing his son for her Mate. Then they find there are clans that are trying to make mixed race beings like her, while dealing with that she feels betrayed finding out her protection team and friends are also doing experiments. She's not a Lab Rat and ticked off as all get out ! She isn't adjusting well to her new life, is there something wrong with her being the first combined breed female? Is she being poisoned?? When it becomes clear that some would rather see her dead then in the hands of rival clans she and her supporters must go into hiding. How can this come out well ?!She just wants to be a teenager, she didn't ask to be some kind of princess, or queen. What happened to love, college and just letting her grow up? When she is backed into a corner and a challenge is forced she and her team must make sure that she is kept safe, and try to get the prophesy that is supposed to direct her existence. B. Kristen McMichael draws you into the team rooting for Arianna to win, you want to find out which boy does she choose?, What is her destiny supposed to be? Will she ever get used to being Different, Strange?

Another stellar read in this great trilogy!
Becoming a Legend is another big piece to the amazing puzzle that helps to make up The Blue Eyes Trilogy. Arianna Grace is a young, coming of age, inspired leader of the night humans. She continues to grow - as a young woman and as a character. She becomes at one with her life and her becoming a legend. The story-line is fantastic as it progresses and keeps this series going. B. Kristin McMichael is a master at developing characters - this book and this series is no different. This book was fantastic - at times even better than the last one. I am thankful that it makes up one-third of the story. That means there is much more for me to get my hands on! This book will help to quench your thirst - your thirst for....vampires! But, this is not your ordinary vampire book/series! You will be pleasantly surprised!B. Kristin McMichael once again over-delivers here. This book is well-written, beautifully articulated, and highly-imaginative. It is refreshing to see such a new perspective in a often over-done genre. Highly recommended!

The vampires in this series are incredibly unique and the story is amazing!
Becoming a Legend starts about a year after the first one ended. I have to say that even though I really loved the first book in this series, I liked this one even more! It went even more in depth into the characters and I really felt like I got to know them and their back story better. Arianna learns a lot more about the night humans and learns more about her abilities and we get to learn more about the legend YAY!!!The drama and romance as she is pushed towards marrying and choosing her five is very well written and kept me glue to my seat waiting to see who the five would be and if they would succeed in pushing her into marriage for political reasons mostly. The action scenes are incredible and I would love to see them on the big screen. This is a series I would recommend to any lovers of science fiction... The vampires in this series are incredibly unique and the story is amazing! I have read a lot of vampire books and seen a lot of vampire tv and movies, and I have to say that I think I like the vampire in this series the most out of all of them, and since True Blood is ending I wish HBO would pick up this series... for real!

I loved this book from beginning to end.
McMichael has done it again. I loved this book from beginning to end. I picked it up right away after finishing book one in the Blue Eyes Trilogy. It was even better than I expected. Fantastic read. I'm a little sad. I am still team Devin! But Andrew is a nice addition to the story. I thought he was creepy at first with the way he stalked her in book one, but his creepiness turned true affection. Can't wait to see where the last book takes me. Again, it was written beautifully and the characters stay true to their personalities and progressive development.

Surprised me, I was captivated
I started to read the first book because of the reviews, not expecting to get hooked,,,,but I did. I really enjoyed the first two books and am about to begin the third book. The very different take on the usual vampire character makes them so much more believable and interesting. The characters are well drawn and stay true to their nature throughout. The story hooked me right away and continues to hold my interest. Thank you for the gift of these books. Heather Cowan

Five Stars
My heart raced through this book.A young woman on the edge of becoming by a living legend and no one will tell her how to take that step or what the legend is.Many attempts are made to assassinate her by those who don't want her to suceed.Loved by more than one man and she loves more than one. Who to choose?Even when all the answers are before her, life still isn't happily ever after.I will begin the last book of the trilogy already on the edge of my seat!

Great Story
Love this series. Just keeps getting better and better. I am just upset that she is picking Andrew over Devin. I think she should have faught a little harder for him. Something with Andrew is just too easy. Guess I will find out in book 3.

Great coming of age fantasy
I have read a lot of coming of age books in the recent past and love the ones that incorporate things such as fantasy elements into them more than anything. Author B. Kristin McMichael has written a great series here and the second book in this series, "Becoming a Legend", was a great read. The continuing story of Arianna, who is thrust into a leadership position at a very young age. Not only that, she has several boys competing for her affection and there are some hidden motives and agendas to wade through. Loved this story and found the writing to be very well done.

Becoming a Legend
Well 3.8 really. In the second book in the series Ari is learning more about her heritage, those surrounding her and the politics of her new life. A female leader of two clans is a new experience for all.Her relationships become more confusing (and annoying for the reader at times), and her immature causes those around her concerns. However the story concept continues to captures my interest and I have already bought book 3 to find out what happens next.

A nice read with unusual characters
The series is a good read - I went through all 3 books despite my little annoyance with the characters that are different than your usual Bram Stoker, Vampire Diaries or Twilight vampire, werewolf and alike.Still, the story is well told in general, has little typos or plot errors and does provide a nice starting point for yet another trilogy (which you’ll find out at the end of this one, and is also a good read – yepp, did that too).I won’t recap the other mainly 5-star reviews from Amazon.com – if you are up for it before you get the books, you can always go through those. What I liked is that I was hinted towards these books through a collection of stories (including book one of The Blue Eyes trilogy, which is free). If you sum it up, it’s another view of the usual stories – a female, 2 male characters, different clans behind them, love, scheming, and a legend to bind them all. Nope, not LotR, neither Romeo & Juliet, thankfully neither that lengthy though, but definitely a good read. It’s a typical Young Adults read, definitely great if you familiar with and like, nah, not Bram Stoker, but the other 2 versions of vampires. I mean – I am a guy, and even did a review on it, plus read meanwhile 6 books out of that universe, so that should tell you something….##########If you found the info useful, please don’t hesitate and click the button below – thank you!
