MusclePharm Combat XL Mass Gainer Powder, Weight Gainer Protein Powder, Chocolate, 6 Pounds, 8+ Servings

I've always been a pretty lean guy courtesy of genetics, even while maintaining athletics and training basically since birth. I went from 145 to 165 in USMC basic and I eventually settled around 155 and stuck there for a decade while lifting weights, boxing, and playing soccer on 90% of days in the year. Working 10 hour days I just can't eat the way I should. Supplements were usually a scoop of protein powder and pre-workout, nothing more.I bought this Mass Gainer as a recent addition to the MP Combat Protein Powder to try and add some bulk and the results have exceed my expectations. Purchased on Nov 7, and I mix one scoop of this (vanilla) with one scoop of Combat Powder (C&C) in about 8oz of water which makes a 450cal, 37g protein shake that mixes well (I use ice to break up the chunks) and tastes great. Usually I take one on top of breakfast and one after a workout; maybe one here and there as a snack before bed.Since November I've seen my weight steadily rise from 155 to a current 163 so I'm definitely pleased with the results. I've even had multiple unrelated people mention that I look bigger, which of course speaks for it self! Give it try, especially if you're training and simply can't get the right calorie intake for whatever reason.

All mass gainers are not good for your health. Way too much cholesterol and sodium. I have looked at dozens on here, and tried several. They are all basically the same. If you want to gain weight, try Mass Tech. I bought two 22 pound buckets for $80.00 each. About $4.00 a serving for 2000 calories. Not bad in regards to cost. I gained about 10 pounds and it cost me $160.00. I also ingested lots of cholesterol and sodium and sugar. All mass gainers are a heart attack in the making if you stay on them for any length of time. We don't eat enough real food, I eat 60 eggs a week, 8 to 10 pounds of meat and rice and potatoes and so on. I eat every 2 to 3 hours. Still not enough for my metabolism. I cant gain weight. That tells me I am not eating enough. So this mass gainer is just as good as any. It tastes good / vanilla . I mix frozen fruit and a banana with it and BCAA's and creatine.

I got the chocolate flavor mass gainer and it tastes great. I don't recommend trying to fit the four scoops that comes as one serving into a shaker bottle however. Like most mass gainers, these should be used as small caloric 'boosts' in a person's diet, and not as a calorie blaster. I've used half a serving daily, mixed with water and soy milk, and I've gained about 5 pounds in two weeks. Some muscle, some flab, but that's what happens when go into a caloric surplus. Very great product nevertheless, and the price is great in comparison to the other competitors.

This is the first time I've tried any mass gainers and so far so good. I'm at the beginning of my training so I'm still waiting to see results. And I'm not sure if this is typical of mass gainers or not, but one serving is 4 giant scoops. I have to make two separate shakes to get the entire serving in. Tastes pretty good if you don't add too much water. I made that mistake the first time trying it and it was pretty gross. It's also an AWESOME price for such a huge jug. The GNC stuff is like 80-90 bucks for basically the same thing and amount. Also, this fills me up like crazy. Feel like I ate Thanksgiving dinner every time I down a serving lol.

I’ve been using this product, as a supplement, in order to gain weight. It taste great but just like all protein/weight and muscle mass powder drinks, you must use a good portion each and every time.I have an eating disorder due to a history of esophageal cancer so weight gainers such as this one are an essential part of my diet. So far, I’m happy with it and the flavor is very good.

Great product taste true to flavor-vanilla.Using a super large plastic Blender w/ thick grade ball whisk does a good dissolve of powder. Use with water (taste is not as great for the picky) or only non fat milk for best results.Two scoops for light shake and four for a thicker pro shake. The bulk size for price is a lot more reasonable than other products for what it offers.

I wanted to try Muscle Pharm Mass Gainer after having tried Optimum Nutrition. I'll jump right to it-- this stuff can wreck your libido.I'm talking major boner killer. My SO and I usually have relations multiple times a week and we sufficiently enjoy ourselves, but since having started taking mass gainer, I have nothing. I know I am supposed to be aroused but nothing is there. I decided to finish the container, and sure enough my sex drive is back about a week later.Pros:It works (I gained 10lbs in about 4 weeks, basically using this as my breakfast. I am 6'4" and went from 185lbs to 195lbs)It mixes better than ON (my usual shake was 1/2 serving of Mass Gainer + PB + greek yogurt + egg whites + fruit)It is cheaper per serving than ONCons:Libido killerON tastes better

Good product and taste. I just finished my 12 lb. bag of Dymatize Super Mass which is pretty comparable. I got this today, opened the bag and couldn't get it closed. I don't need a 12 lb bag of gainer open in my pantry. I immediately transferred the contents to my old Dymatize bag with a zipper closure. I couldn't pour it in so I spent 15 minutes scooping.... seriously... I'll either order Dymatize next time or just spend a little more and get a smaller plastic tub.
