Luna Lullaby Lil' Something Tummy-Time Pillow, Blue Dot

Before getting into the bad, I just want to say that this pillow is a great concept and is the perfect size, especially for those who prefer to do the football hold while breastfeeding. It's large enough to handle a newborn but small enough to make it easily portable, and I think it would make a great tummy-time pillow as well. With that said, the quality of the pillow itself is...well...terrible. I hate to say it, but this is the same kind of pillow on airplanes (you know - with the thin, fragile gauzy-mesh lining over some poly-fill) with a thin, not very plush polyester cover. If something were to seep through the cover, I'm not sure this pillow could be salvaged. The cover is blah, and it's not a guarantee that it'll look like the one in the picture: I got the gray and white zig-zag, and the zig-zag pattern on mine happens to run diagonally instead of horizontally as shown in the picture, which makes it look awkwardly lop-sided - not a big deal except that it doesn't look as nice as depicted and further speaks to the quality (or lack thereof) of this product. For the exorbitant amount paid for an airplane pillow with a flimsy fuzzy poly cover, I'm a bit disappointed (5 bucks would have been appropriate), but I have yet to find anything similar of better quality.

If you are only going to get one nursing pillow (which is likely all you need)... this should be it!!! The Luna Lullaby Lil' Something Tummy-Time Pillow is my favorite nursing pillow (I also used the Luna Lullaby full size nursing pillow and My Breast Friend). This was my favorite because I found the most uses for it. In reality, most people only use full sized nursing pillows for a brief period of time (when your baby is still very small and you getting used to everything). Once your baby is a little larger and you have your rhythm down.. you will likely not need a full sized pillow. However... the LL Lil' Something is something you will still use! When your baby is first born, you can use this as a baby pillow for face-to-face play, when (s)he is a little older you can use this as a tummy time pillow and you will also use this as a nursing support pillow throughout the duration of your nursing experience. My daughter is now 14 months, I am still nursing, and I still use this pillow! It has allowed me to support her body, support her head positioning, support my arms, and support my wrists... depending on her size and the needs of where we were at the time of nursing. The best feature, however, is that it is so portable. When my daughter was first born I took this pillow with us everywhere in her diaper bag (which it fit into nicely). This allowed us to easily find comfortable nursing positions regardless of where we were. We went everywhere together... to mommy and me movies, to her grandparents' house, to restaurants... we took it everywhere. I think this is a testament to how portable it is as well as how useful we found it to be.

Love this nursing pillow! I had the larger version of this (different brand) when I had my firstborn. Now on my 3rd child... while I enjoyed the big boomerang pillow this smaller size one is so much more comfortable for me. I’m only 5’3” and I love how this mini doesn’t leave me with excess ends. I rest my arm or lay baby’s head on it and nursing becomes relaxing.

I bought this as a travel nursing pillow for when my daughter was 3 months. It was small enough to stuff into a large diaper bag (with little room to spare). Small enough to use in an airplane seat, but large enough to actually be helpful. The cover is very plush and cozy. I've washed both the cover and pillow in a washing machine and dried in dryer. They both washed very well. Now that my daughter is older and can hold herself up better, I use this instead of the boppy when I rock her to sleep. It provides just enough support between my arm and the arm rest. Definitely not a necessary product but I found it useful.

Good for travel, in bed, other convenient spots. Although I haven't used it much it seems like a good option. Maybe the sleeve (wearable) nursing pillow (kind of looks like pool arm floaties) would be better? I've seen it at Walmart.

I didn't use this pillow as much as other reviewers. It was not a close comparison to the larger sized luna, which fit my baby perfectly. I prefer the larger one to this one. However, this one travels well due to its size. Although not as comfortable as the larger one, the fact I can take it on the plane or in the car and not have to make a ton space for it or fold it up is extremely convenient. It does fill like the fill on the smaller version is more than the larger version, resulting in a stiffer feel. I actually like that, it has better structure.

Works well as a travel nursing pillow. I ordered the blue dot covered travel pillow and it is soft and comfortable. Ithe also is able to fit in my backpack diaper bag (it can. Kind of fold I half where it curves). So glad I found this. It's hard to find travel nursing pillows!

I ordered this for my second child. i had a boppy pillow for my first and i had a hard time using it to nurse my son because the boppy didn't sit good in my rocking chair and i felt like he never snuggled into it while nursing very well. He also looked uncomfortable, and i ended up not using it very long. so far i love this pillow for multiple things. this size of pillow is perfect for rocking chairs and i use it to put on my lab to set my baby on to just let her look around on my lap. i would recommend this pillow to anyone.
