Cuisinart DHR-20P1 Food Dehydrator, Black

This dehydrator fits quite a bit of food. It dehydrates herbs and fruits well. I have not tried vegetables or meat yet. It’s not too noisy. It could qualify as white noise. You can use all 5 trays or just one if needed. One of the trays had a crack in the end, but it still works and still stacks well. We bought an almost new dehydrator. The box it came in was crushed on one end, so that’s probably why it was discounted and had a cracked tray. It is easy to use. We are pleased with it.

For entry level dehydrator. We have been using ours now for right at 1 year. Zero ossues ever. Looks and works like day 1. Trays are dishwasher safe. Base cleans easy with damp paper towels. For easier cleanup i recommend wiping cooking oil on the bottom catch pan. We have made countless jerky recipes and even dried nuts and fruits with great results.

I love the Cuisinart food dehydrator, heat distribution is good, it is efficient, no time, Size is good. The only thing i don't like is that this model doesnt have a damper on top of the lid, it is just wide open with no way of damming the heat escaping, so I installed a KN90 mask on top, then I control how much air comes out. The shelves are not durable; they can break very easily., I dehydrate everything, from pepper leaves to fresh fruits, to meats, venison, beef, and fish. grass, weeds, and flowers. everything.

I love this dehydrator, it is high quality, easy to use, easy to store, and easy to clean. I was considered at front that the turning dial on the front would fall off or chip if it was low quality and it has not. It is simple and easy to use because you just plug it in and turn the dial in the front to which setting you want. This dehydrator isn’t oddly shaped so it is easy to place on the shelf until the next time it is used. All of the racks will stack on each other and you can easily clean each separate rack and allow to dry. It is an amazing dehydrator I would buy it again, I think if this company put out a line of colored dehydrators it would take it up a notch

Cuisinart is a brand that holds it's value. I had one since 2016 and it finally broke. I am an herbalist and am constantly drying herbs, roots and fruit on it all year long. The fact it lasted 9 years was astonishing. When it broke it was a no brainier that I would buy this again! It shipped fast and I am back up and running.

I chose this dehydrator because (1) it was an "Amazon's choice" item, (2) the Cuisinart name, which is associated with quality products, (3) the price was right, (4) I thought it would be a good entry-level dehydrator since I'm new at it, (5) it has variable speeds and a fan-only setting, and (6) it had fairly decent reviews. Well, first off, the plastic trays have fairly large holes. I thought I'd start with veggies, but half the corn fell right through the air holes down to the bottom. Mesh-bottom trays would work much better. Then the trays are stacked so close together, only short things fit, it wouldn't even fit some of the Brussel sprouts without having to cut them in half. And the motor is much louder than I had expected. I kind of wish I'd saved my money and spent a little more on the Excalibur, since that's the brand that is most highly recommended. Hopefully with all its shortcomings, this will at least do the job it's meant to do.

In case you reside in the Middle East it’s not compatible. It’s 120 volt . Also there was a delay with delivery . Eventually Amazon refunded the money
