Way better than a splitting axe
This and a 3 lbs sledge is all you need.

Works like a charm
Took a few hits to work out the best technique but once I did, wow. Have cut up a bunch of very hard logs pretty easily. I am 5'3" female!The upside is it is really small to store too, something that is super important in our compact house.
