3 outlets defective 4.9v no load.
Good idea, poor execution, only one of the four outlets has more than 4.9v with no load and 14v input from the cigarette lighter outlet. Maybe mine was just defective, not worth any fuss at the cheap price, will use the one working outlet or it goes in the junk bin for parts.

My son loves having his own charging port in the back seat!!
I was tired of shuffling phones around when someone ran out of battery only to cause someone else to run out of battery so when I saw this charger I had to get it. The unit works just as it should charging my phones and tablets at a decent rate. It won’t “rapid charge” my Nexus 6P but most non-USB C chargers won’t. It seems to charge at the same rate a standard charger does though.The power for the front seat is shared 2.4A which I found peculiar since the rear gets two 2.4A ports. This won’t be much of an issue for me since I will be charging my phone and normally only have two other passengers. This is the same setup that the Belkin Road Rockstar has so I guess they figure the front passengers only need 1A each for phone charging. If my front seat passenger needs more power they can use the unused rear 2.4A port.This charger is more than long enough to reach the back seats of my Prius C. At 6 feet in length I think it’ll be long enough for most vehicles. There is a clip on the section that you put in the rear of the car so you can clip it somewhere for safekeeping, the clip is removable if you prefer not to use it. My son clips it to the seat back compartment.The build quality doesn’t seem to be very high. The ports on the rear seat portion of the charger don’t line up correctly with the casing, this makes it difficult to insert the charging cable. It doesn’t effect the charging so it’s a minor thing but it’s annoying nonetheless. I had a backup battery that also had this problem once and it eventually failed because of it. I don’t know what this will mean for durability for this item but will update my review if it becomes an issue.I received this item at a discount for my honest, unbiased review.
