It is fairly accurate. I filled a 5.9 gallon bucket with it and it registered 5.8 gallons. Maybe the bucket was inaccurate? This Restmo water meter is doing what I wanted it to. I hooked it to a soaker hose. Running it for several hours, I find the 25 foot hose used 0.65 gallons per minute. This is why I bought it. To see how much water this hose disperses in a given time. It's well constructed in my opinion and simple to use. We'll see how it holds up over the long haul.

The media could not be loaded.  We have a lot of plants and flowers in our back yard. In Texas, our water bill dramatically increases every summer. My wife always complains that I waste too much water in the yard. We want to know how much water exactly we use in the yard. I buy this device because it has 4 measure modes. Now I know how much gallons can fill my pool and how much water we totally use in the past week. Before I purchase this, I have concerns about the leakage issue. There are many vendors sell this device and it seems like all have leakage issue. Maybe I’m lucky but mine does not leak at all. I think other guys didn’t screw every parts tightly. Also I like the 2 different colors quick fittings from this vendor, so that I will not make mistakes to install it. Definitely will buy more and recommend it.

Very easy to use, didn't leak, seems pretty accurate.I got this to track the water going into my RV black tank when I backfill it to clean it out. I don't need it to be perfectly accurate, just close. I fill my tank to 38 gallons for a 40 gallon tank and let it rip.Worked great and had no issues. It's all plastic so we'll see how long it lasts, but I also didn't leave it hooked up. Only installed it when I needed it.

The meter worked great until it cracked under the counting meter part. I tried Gorilla glue to try and fix it but that didn't work. I use it once a week to count the water flow into my black tank in my rv, so it was not used continuously. I am very disappointed!UPDATE--the company saw my review and reached out to me. They sent me a replacement in a very timely manner and I am very pleased with their response!

This works great and I loved it BUT..... It was on a hose that I have on a reel that is always on and ready so you just walk up and can use the sprayer immediately. Woke up one AM to a flooded side yard because the timer part popped out and water was spraying everywhere. it was unfixable so I have to get a new one and it's past the return window. I guess I just have to keep the pressure off as much as possible. We'll see how long it lasts.

Bought these because we need to monitor our water output. When I tried to install, they are supposed to screw onto normal hose ends, well that didn't happen. When I screwed them down fully, there was still play, meaning I could wiggle the connection. When the water turned on, sprayed and leaked everywhere. I even tried Teflon tape and that worked for about 20 mins before the hose just popped off and water spilled everywhere (inside).Oh and the picture and description show quick connects on either end. There were none. I would not recommend this product to anyone unless they like buying products that are useless and want to get sprayed when they turn on the hose.

Good value for the price. The multifunction feature (Gal/min. current gallons, overall gallons, Gal to Liter option) is useful and easily accomplished.I use brass quick disconnects through out my yard and tried to switch from the ready-installed plastic system to the brass but it didn't really work so I put the plastic ones back. The instructions say "Don't disassemble the connections, so I guess they know what they are talking aboutI don't know what it's durability will be, but the one I have is in a shady protected place, so If I can avoid yanking the hose hard enough to break it, it should last a couple of years at least.

Update: company saw my review asked for my info and replaced the broken item and included a small gift.Product was easy to put together, clip batteries in and hook up to hose. They are however not really waterproof despite the casing. Sat near puddled water, semi submerged for half hour and no longer works. I got two though and the second one about two months in and still works fine now that I keep it propped up away from pooling water.

no leaking, easy to use. the only thing I'm a bit disappointed in is that it needs a minimum flow to work that's too high to use with a dripper from a water recuperation container. works fine with a regular hose from the same container.

These are the parts I didn't know I needed. We do a lot of RVing and being able to accurately monitor the water usage when on full service or setting up for boondocking is invaluable. The instructions are easy enough to follow, you might even be able to get going without them. For what we paid, I have absolutely no regrets
