Becoming Who You Are: Embracing the Power of Your Identity in Christ

This is a very interesting book regarding body, spirit, soul. The writer has a way of describing all of these attributes in a way that is very understanding. Have studies this in other articles and books but this is the best explanations I have ever studied.

I've been in the Lord for 44 years. There is always more to learn. Dutch Sheets is a teacher I will never get tired of. He enlarges your understanding as he brings out the deeper meaning of words from their original language. Excellent book.Thank you Dutch!

Dutch is such a fantastic author. I love how he uses the Bible as text and breaks down the original language. So often things are translated in a way that is far less impactful than the original words. Dutch breaks it all down and explains everything so well. This book is exactly what I needed. I haven't heard this concept anywhere before-that when we are saved, our spirit is saved, but our soul needs to come into alignment with our spirit so that we can walk day to day as the people we want to be in God. So powerful.

I haven't read ALL of Dutch's books, but this has to be one of his best! He is able to bring revelation and understanding in a unique way. This book brought to life what it means to become what we are all destined to be.

This book expounds on and deeply explains something that my mentor has discipled me about for years. This book took the message deeper in such a way that I know have a better understanding of how to apply God’s Word to my life to experience greater freedom and become who I am.

This book has changed my life and several in my book study! The information Dutch Sheets shares should be taught to every Bible believing church member—because few people know the difference between soul and spirit and how each drastically affects our spiritual journey.

Very informative. Captures what the fall is all about and how it effects and has effected all of us. I'm not through reading it yet however I find it really opens my mind, heart, soul and spirit as to Gods plan for our salvation and what we really lost with the fall of Adam and how we regain it back. The author does this all through using the scriptures. I look forward to finishing the book and applying it to my daily life. It helps me to understand deeper the love that God has for us all and how he wants to be a part of our everyday life. May you walk with God through Jesus' love, sacrifice and redemption.

I read this book after I’d read Spirit, Soul and Body by Andrew Womack and Your Identity in Christ by Neil Anderson - I felt it was the best of the three.I found Dutch’s explanation of the Greek to be particularly helpful.

Book in excellent shape. Very good book on the theology of the soul.

So much revelation and power in this book. Honestly loved it so much. It was the last book I read in 2020, and what an incredible one to end the year with. Definitely recommend
