Beyond Expectation
I was looking for a portable desk cooler for myself as well as for my laptop, which gets flaming hot that I can feel it from the keyboard. My expectation was not very high for cooler at this size, but it produces much stronger cooling effect then I expected , I can feel the wind even from 30 inches away. With putting ice into the water tank, it works even better. Now I can type at ease without worry my keyboard scortch my fingers and all the sweat at my palm :)Plus, those color chaging lights make it a good decoration to my room, looks really cool at night, perfect match to my keyboard light

Not a Fan (pun not intended)
Original Review: July 30 2021For reference, I live in Texas ... In a house built in the 1930s with no AC so I have to use window units. There is one room in the house that gets hot no matter what and that happens to be my office. Its incredibly small and has no window so I have to rely on fans and air flow from one room to the next.I had a cheapo Evap Cooper that I purchased from a big box store years ago and it finally went out on me this week. It was the only thing keeping me sane in the summer, especially now that I work from home full time. Anyway ... I purchased this ... And well ... Im confused. It says Air Cooler/Conditioner but it is, in fact, a fan AND humidifier. I knew immediately this purchase was a mistake when I saw that the water tank was solidly separated from the fan. Meaning ... With Evap Coolers, there is an area to pour water into it or fit a water tank into it where the cool vapor from the water will be pushed out by the fan. This has no such apparatus. Instead, the water tank is used solely as a Humidifier. Its actually a decent humidifier though. Good steady stream of mist.SO HOW DOES THIS WORK, YOU ASK?In order for you to get cool from using this, you have to turn on the humidifier feature that has the cold water you put in, and turn the fan on at the same time. The fan will push the cool mist onto you so that you cool off that way.Why is this a problem? I use this in my office ... Where all my equipment is that shouldn't ever be wet and this is a decent humidifier. If you need a humidifier, this is a good purchase. If you need a small desk fan, this is a good purchase. If you need an Evaporative Air Cooler (which I needed), this is not a good purchase.Updated Review August 9 2021:All of the above still applies however ...I decided to try and use it in hopes of updating it for a better star rating but no ... I can't.I moved this to another room without electronics close by to see if it was worth it. I froze water in the ice tray provided. Added that to the bottom along with some cold water and turned on the humidifier feature along with the fan feature and used it for several days. Water on your skin with a fan blowing on you will cool you no matter what, but ice cold water makes you even cooler. That's fine. I wont say that my skin was ever wet, just very cool in the place the humidifier spray could get to.Alas, this still wasn't my cup of tea. But I continued. I planned on giving this a full month but the humidifier spray has stopped working. When I turn it on, it does a high pitch whistling sound and nothing comes out. I tried to clean the spray area out but that still didnt do anything so ... Now ... Its just a desk fan.So if you want a boxy desk fan with cool colors, go for it, but Im sure you could get one for cheaper.

An Honest Detailed Review
The media could not be loaded. I've used this product for 2-3 weeks. It's decent. About the quality of using a fan, however, with a slight cooling effect by using the ice cubes from a tray or even using the rubber ice cube maker they include.I could use this by my desk or by my bed, and I will feel a difference as though a fan is blowing directly at me, but apart from that, the noticeable difference in an entire room is little if at all noticeable. I have a couple ways to check the temperature in my room, and although they may not be the most accurate, and I could feel myself how my room felt, I'm pretty sure this fan and air cooler or humidifier combo (not an ac) only kept my room at a certain temperature with the door open, windows closed on a hot day, and an additional fan to circulate the air out of my room. It did not do the job in lowering it by degrees, but it did seem to keep it from raising above about 81 inside in the hot summer days of California about 90 degrees Fahrenheit or above outside.I managed to fit 2 of the big cubes from the rubber maker they provided, and added another 4-5 cubes from a regular plastic ice cube tray to get the full lasting effect. Be sure to keep the water level below the guideline marked on the tank, or it will not spray the mist, and potentially the lights won't even work. If something is not working properly, it's probably because the water level is too high and above their designated guidelines.Personally, my conclusion was that by using this, it would be worth paying an additional $50 on top of what I paid for this unit, around $42 on prime day or 50-52 regular price to get something in the 100 dollar price tier range that would be more effective. The really good news is that the customer service does really well and they are always looking for feedback, and even e-mailed me on their own to see how I felt about the product, and they wanted to make sure that I was satisfied, so I asked for a refund after addressing my concerns and they gave it to me.I'd say it works as a humidifier, should be titled an air cooler, definitely not labeled as an air conditioner, and can mostly be relied on to keep the temperature from rising in your room in a moderate setting, but cannot be relied on to lower the temperature by more than a few degrees in hot days. Please spend your money wisely with this comment, and thank you fuel fun for your excellent service!

Perfect for Desk Setups
I normally don't write reviews, but I thought to write one for this one because almost everything is perfect about this mini fan! The reason being is, it actually does cool the surrounding area (especially a small room). The additional mist helps a lot during this hot summer, especially since my laptop radiates off hot air, and the fan helps to cool my desk area. The additional LED lights also fits perfectly with my setup, and the white color for this model is also a really nice color. My only complaint about this product is that it gets kind of hard to pull off the lid for the water tank. It's a sliding type, and sometimes I have to use a lot of force to slide off the lid in order to add more water. It would be cool if the cap was a lifting up type so that I don't possibly damage the lid and tank by using so much force to pull off the lid.Overall, if you're looking for a mini fan for your desk setup, this one really is a great choice! Do beware that this is not a mini AC cooler, but a mini fan that mist out water vapor!

I thought it would be bigger
It works really well but it is very small and it only cools down very very small rooms. Good for up close office space.

Doesn’t blow air far enough!
Great idea but you have to be very close to it to get cool!
