Connected But No Internet...
The wifi signal is strong; unfortunately, the dongle doesn't connect to the internet. Tried different directions and locations but doesn't work. However, the T-mobile Franklin and the Alcatel was plug and play. UPDATE: I wrongfully maligned the dongle. As I said earlier, the signal strength is great for such a small dongle. It wasn't working because the SIM chip had a problem. I put the SIM in the new T-mobile Franklin T9 and it did not work. Went to the T-mobile store and they couldn't get it to work either. They got a new chip, put it in, and problem solved. So it wasn't the dongle because the signal was excellent.

Absolute waste of money
I had high hopes of using this for travel. Unfortunately, this product was a dud. I spent hours trying to get this set up without any luck. The instruction manual wasn't any help, so like most consumers, I started looking at forums and YouTube videos. Again, nothing really helpful there either.

Doesn't work on ATT in USA
Setup seems easy enough, but doesn't work on ATT in USA using same Sim that an older battery powered hotspot still works fine.

No work cellular
As is the fate of these devices the cellular doesn’t connect I believe and this particular one has a design flaw where there is no stopper for the SIM card your guess where it’s left or to slide to.

Complete garbage
Don't waste your time. This thing is a complete piece of garbage. I was eventually able to get it to connect, but every time I tried to test the speed or do a Google search, it would disconnect and restart restart.

This is NOT what was sent to me. It has no sim card slot or sd card slot.
As I said this is not what was sent to me.

Waste of time
I read reviews before buying and saw people complaining about configuration being unclear. I thought those were "old dudes" that can't handle even USB. I was wrong. Device is as unfriendly as it can get. If it didn't work with your provider after you insert SIM card, you will need a lot of time to figure out how to upgrade firmware on this device and how to enter APN settings. Just buy something more adequate.
