great for adult students
I am an older adult who began playing about a year ago. I did not want to spend money on lessons so I sort of self-taught. After about 9 months I noticed I was not improving and made the same mistakes over and over. My fingers just would not do what I wanted them to. My son, who is a musician, recommended this book of exercises and I have been using it for a few months with great improvement. I will never be an accomplished pianist, but I do enjoy my piano experience much more now. I would highly recommend this book.

The service was very good. The book though has small variations that differ from the Original Hanon at the end of each part ofthe exercises. Otherwise, it is a fine book for beginners; I think my student will do fine with this version! Thanks,R.

Develop Finger Strength and Flexibility for Piano Students
This is a classic collection of finger exercises for piano beginners. The Hanon canon is a standard approach for stretching fingers and developing a fluid reach.

Excellent Exercises
A great substitute for the Hanon Schirmer version. This version puts the exercises in a shorter format without losing the skill challenge.

Use it every day
My son, age 12, uses these every day to practice pattern repetition. This printing is nice, and it's typical Hanon.
