Beard Trimmer Series 5000 with Lift and Trim Pro System (Model BT5515/13), Black

My husband absolutely loves it! He does his own hair and beard and it has so many levels that he can so shading and play with it! Very easy to charge and it lasts a long time!

Been using these Philips Beard Trimmers for almost 20 years now keep coming back as they always do the job perfectly! The 5000 is definitely the one to get always, the 3000 is cheaper but you can tell why! This is replacing my previous 5000 which unfortunately no longer holds charge - although I do hope this one lasts more than the couple of years that one did... This new version seems to cut maybe a tiny bit closer, if like me you use this basically as an electric razor with no guard then you will definitely appreciate how close and smooth it shaves. The charging stand is a nice touch always wanted one, the storage bag is better quality than expected and the plastic guards seem to be a better/thicker quality than old models too. My old model had a rotating head with the detail trimmer on it, this one the detail trimmer comes as a separate head so that feels like a downgrade and a hassle after being used to the rotating head I wish they had kept that! Other than that everything else is spot on and good quality - if you can't decide which Beard Trimmer you want/need, imo its this one! :)

Excellent quality as one would expect from Philips. Brilliant design. 40 easy to adjust length settings. Comfortable self sharpening blades are easy to clean and do not need oiling. In my opinion it is simply the best.

As you would expect from a brand like Philips it is a great product made well. For years I’d always used a Babyliss trimmer which tends to only last 18th a before it fails, that was also very patchy in terms of getting those difficult hairs where the direct changes. This trimmer works great where the hair direction changes and also in those other difficult bits like top lip and edge of chin/neck. The lift and cut function works really well and the attachments are securely fixed and you don’t feel like they might fall off mid use. Seems to have a good length of time from each charge, been using it a few months 2 or 3 times a week on just that first charge. Would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable trimmer

Great deal for a great trimmer, will last a few years, and the battery is decent on it

Recently bought this 'Like new' resale item that apparently just had a damaged box. However, it arrived covered in someone else's hair, and had clearly been used. Was actually disgusting to unbox. Don't risk the resale 'like new' items. Theirs a chance the rating is wrong. I'll be returning this and buying a new one for full price. I was getting this to replace my previous one of the same type, that I unfortunately dropped and broke. It's a really good shaver, holds battery life really well, and doesn't slow down all that much towards the end of its charge. I liked it so much I was willing to replace it with the same model. Just a shame the resale descriptions can be so horribly wrong.
