Head Up Display, Car HUD P8, OBDII & GPS Dual System, The 1st Model in The Market Can be Installed on A-Pillar Trim, Only works on most 2008+ cars

I drive a 2018 subaru impreza hatchback. Was very easy to install, simply plug it in and stick it to your dash or windshield. Hardest part about installing it for me personally was finding a place where it would fit and had a flat surface to stick to. The shape of it is a little bit awkward and my A pillars weren’t quite wide enough to stick it to and not have it be kind of an eyesore but the underside of the top part of the dash where my clock is was a good spot for it. All of my stock gauges in my cluster work perfectly fine but seeing as it’s a base model impreza I only have my tach, odometer, fuel gauge and speedometer so I wanted something that could show me oil and coolant temperature at the very least and this display does a great job of that as well as a few other indications that I find convenient. I do wish it could display oil pressure but if something goes wrong with my oil pressure the idiot light on my dash will come on so it’s not the end of the world. I was skeptical about the displays functionality seeing a bunch of reviews saying the auto sleep doesn’t work consistently and all these other issues people have with it but I have not had a single issue with it. Others have said they set the auto sleep to when the battery reaches 13.6v or so but theres an option in the settings to set the auto sleep to “RPM” so that it turns off whenever the car isn’t running and it has consistently turned off automatically when I shut the engine down. Others have also had issues with an inaccurate speed indication on the display vs their own speedometer but since I first plugged it in it has been accurate within +/- 1mph and there is a setting to adjust speed compensation so the speed indication reads more accurately. Product is light and made of plastic so I wouldn’t imagine it’s terribly durable if it falls on the ground or is hit by something hard but seeing as it should just be stuck to the windshield or dashboard it should generally be out of harms way. There is a brightness setting that includes an “auto” option so that the light sensor on the back of the display can auto adjust based on conditions in the car and I haven’t had an issue with it being too bright at night. Overall I would honestly say it’s worth the price if you really care about being able to see oil/coolant temperature, battery voltage, intake pressure, MAF volume, fuel flow, and even boost for those with turbocharged engines, etc. And if you have a broken tach or speedometer or something that adds even more value.

I've used a few of these type of HUD before, and a persistent problem I've had is that they won't shut off when you turn the car off. This drains the battery, which makes the whole thing not worth the effort. This HUD worked pretty darn good out of the box, and after a brief calibration, it was perfect for everything I wanted to do. I've mounted it on the dash above the steering wheel using some of the included Velcro, which sticks very well. To calibrate it, drive the car at a few different speeds and make a note of how far you are off between the actual speedometer and the HUD, then stop the car and adjust the speed parameter up or down depending on which way you were off. I've calibrated mine so that it's pretty accurate from about 15 to 70, which is most of the time you would be using. Definitely great value for the money. It's this, a backup camera, and Android Auto/Carplay for the big three of car upgrades.

Overall a good device that is exactly what I wanted. Installation and mounting was very simple, I just need to route the OBDII wire a bit better on the A frame moulding. For the unobtrusive size, placement options, features, and price, I don’t think this HUD can really be beat. I don’t like to look down at the dash while driving at night because of how bright headlights are these days I find it difficult for my vision to adjust from checking my speed to focusing back on the road again. So I’ve been thinking about either buying a cheap phone and using that with the UBD fusion app to create a HUD that could reflect off my window, or building my own OBD dash/display with an esp32 type controller. Also thought of using an eink phone or display but refresh rates just aren’t there yet for consumer off the shelf products. So I went the slightly lazier route and just picked up this HUD, much better option for the present moment. The only knock on this device was that the included Velcro was not nearly up to the task to mount the device to my A-frame, so do yourself a doctor and buy some heavy duty Velcro strips to cut to size and use for mounting. Oh, and regardless of your locality settings the fuel per mile is locked in at km/l which isn’t helpful in the US where mi/g is the standard.

Ordered product couple months prior for my work truck. Work truck is in the transportation business and travels coast to coast. I ordered this product specifically for turbo boost pressure, engine oil temperature, engine coolant temperature, etc. turbo boost does not read at all. Engine oil and coolant temperature are about 60° off. The only thing that seems to work is the miles per hour and you have to mess around adjusting it to match actual speed. So I put everything back in the box for return. Due to the fact that I am only home about every month or two. I missed my 30 day return date. Only had this product hooked up for approximately 20 minutes put back in the box and am stuck with a pile of junk. Nothing about this product seems to be of any value.

I'm driving somebody else's car at the moment, and because I sit a high in the seat being very tall, I find it hard to see this speedometer especially if it's very bright. . This has a very small rectangular screen and it sits quite obtrusively on the dash mat in front of me. It has a lot of options that can be displayed, but all I wanted was the speed, so I just left it with that, and it's perfect. It's a paperwhite display which I like. Very much fit for purpose. .

The adhesive back isnt good to hold itself for nothing but it is a nice little gadgetry device. Nice heads up display in other words. It can also read OBD-II codes since it is an OBD-II plug in. It is still nice to see that they put that feature on there regardless. Can help you in times of jams as well. It also has stuff like coolant temp alert or low battery voltage alert. Cons mainly is the sticky adhesive. They need to put better adhesives than what they currently have on rightnow.

軽自動車のOBD接続でちゃんと稼働し、車のシステムに対して変な影響もないようで一安心。表示数値は正しいようだ。付属の説明書は非常に小さい印刷文字の機械翻訳らしい日本語だけなのに対して、本体の表示は中国or台湾or英語だけで一致せず分かりにくかった。本体形状が、ピラー取り付けも考慮したものなのかもしれないが、どうも異形の感じでイマイチで置きにくいし収まりも悪い。

It met my expectations and requirements

Other than the live fue readout rereading low, which can be adjusted in the settings, this unit does exactly what it says,the auto start and shutoff works great. Reads and clears codes, reads the info I need.
