Decor Therapy Montgomery 5-Drawer Chest, Antique Grey

I absolutely love these. I bought 2 tall and 2 short (one is not in the picture on the other side of my bed. I like that I can pull the wicker basket-drawer out and set it next to me at my desk when I need the paperwork. Another drawer has paints that I can pull out and set next to me when I am painting. They look nice and are very functional! Oh, and they come fully assembled. I have nothing to say negative.

I like the style of this item. It fits perfectly in my remodeled walk-in closet. The baskets are not as finished as I would like; however, for the price, this is an excellent product.

I really like the look of this item and it fits in well with the farmhouse decor I have. The baskets are smaller and a bit rougher than expected and seem to shed a bit when they are being removed and replaced. Time will tell about the durability but it seems very structurally sound and looks great.

The colors are accurate and the materials and construction are study and heavier than expected. The details make it a classic addition to our decor. The baskets are study and roomy.

The first time the item was delivered, it came as a whole different item from my order! So then I had to return that and wait for the right one and finally after a month it arrived yesterday and lo and behold it came with a lot of damage!Broken wood, inside and outside! Massively disappointing.

Needed a slim piece for an area in the bathroom to store makeup, etc. I use it daily and unlike others, have not found the baskets to 'shed' or be flimsy. Great, versatile piece!

I was super excited to get this chest, which seemed to be very well packaged. Upon opening the interior box, the top drawer face was completely broken off the drawer and also a small but visible nick was present on the lower right front. In addition, the chest was a much lighter gray than the charcoal color pictured. Returned immediately.

After shopping around and reading several reviews I decided on this wicker drawer stand. I like it but... there are several flaws. First let me start by saying I loved the fact that it came completely assembled. I'm just not good at putting things together. The wicker "basket drawers" are very stiff and scratch at the wood causing small shavings to fall into the drawer below or onto the floor. Due to the wicker being so stiff the drawers are tough to pull out. To fix this I used some felt on the bottom of each drawer and I'm hopeful it will stick. I've had this drawer set for about two weeks and I've already found a few strands that have broken- probably from the tough pull you have to use. I may use a spray Varathane if this continues. The top little drawer is very stiff also. You have to pull kinda hard on it to open and close. I used felt on this drawer also and it seems to help. I may have to sand down the guides to loosen it more if this continues. Lastly, the smell. I don't normally get bothered by a new products smell but this stand has a horrible smell that has lingered. I'm hopeful it will dissipate soon. Now there are things I like about this drawer set such as the size of the baskets, height of the chest and sturdiness overall. Would I buy this again? No. Would I recommend this? No. I feel for the price point I shouldn't have to be "fixing" the basket drawers so often.
