I think your stethoscope resembles the more expensive brands and including extra ear tips, a name tag and chest piece made your product stand out to me. The thick tubing is good b/c it’ll help prevent ambient noises and helps hinder wear and tear. Yes, the tubing is thick but that doesn’t affect the flexibility at all. The 28” inch length in the description caught my eye, but I didn’t think it was a game changer. Both the diaphragm and bell heads are easy to clean between patient use. The useful turntable dial ensures the scope is set for the correct head. I should add, I read many negative reviews stating that they couldn’t hear anything and that it didn’t work. Many claimed to had prior experience using stethoscopes, makes me wonder, they should remember: “if you can't hear, turn your gear.” I think this item does what it says on the tin. It’s cost effective but with style. It’s useful in the office b/c not everyone does cardio or pediatric work, besides, at this price you can have a backup and a spare in your locker. It would be useful at home b/c you never know when hearing aids could go missing 😊 or you might literally want to hear a loved one’s last breath. I think this would be an excellent backup for the office too.

I think it is a good product, good value for the price. However, you have to use it correctly or you may think it doesn't work. I saw some reviews saying it didn't work, but I suspect they were not using it correctly. I also heard nothing when I first tried it, but then realized that the ear pieces are angled for a reason, to channel the sound into your ear canals. If you put it on reverse (wrong angle) then sound does not get directed in to your ears. The other thing is, that the amount of pressure you apply on the sound sensor end is important. Placed on center of heart and pressed in, I could hear nothing, but when I used less pressure against my skin, just lightly touching, it worked, and it was sort of a fine line about the optimal pressure. The instruction booklet shows 4 locations to measure around your heart, and I found that those 4 locations work a lot better than just centering the sensor where I thought would be the center of my heart. In the correct 4 locations, the sound was stronger and the pressure applied to the sensor and skin contact was less critical. I don't know how it compares to a more expensive product since I have not had a chance to try another variety. With no medical training, don't know if what I am hearing is good or not, but it compares well with the sounds I found on an internet site for what a heart should sound like. Also note that I am a senior citizen, so my hearing is probably not as good as a typical younger person. Noting that, I never could hear anything down in the crook of my arm at the elbow. I have no idea what you should hear there, but I never heard anything that way, and I don't have a lot of body fat to obscure the sound, so it is probably a lack of technique, or older ears for that measurement. Overall, I would recommend this product as adequate for a home user who is curious to hear their heart sounds. I will leave it to the professionals to compare with more expensive products.

My granddaughter was in CNA training and could not hear anything through the training stethoscopes at her school. Ordered this one as I am an RN and loved the more expensive Littman stethoscopes This one arrived the very next day! She called me excitedly to tell me that she could hear all the sounds through it perfectly well and was on her way to becoming an expert with obtaining blood pressures.

I bought this same brand of Stethoscope a year ago and I loved it. I bought a second stethoscope and received it today…MUCH lower quality than before. I’m so disappointed. Sound quality is okay, I’ll keep them. They were my extra pair anyway, but I really wish the quality was the same as before. Specifically, the tubing is less flexible and not as soft. It doesn’t coil nicely. The ear pieces push on instead of screw on, and they aren’t nearly as comfortable as before. The whole set up feels very stiff. I ordered the same color as a year ago, but the colors are a bit different, so it’s clear that the stethoscopes are made differently now. I know this is a low priced stethoscope, so my review is mostly comparing the same two stethoscopes (same brand, same color) that I purchased a year apart. If you’ve bought this listing before and liked it, you might not like it now. If you’re looking for a cheap stethoscope with decent sound quality, then these will be fine.

I got sick of other nurses stealing my Littmans. Yes LittmanS! I kept replacing them for work (medsurg nurse). I wanted something that if stolen, wouldn’t keep costing money but do the job. I read reviews and thought let me give this a shot. Hey can always return it. You won’t!! Impressive right out of the box. I got the crazy light blue color on purpose. It is a nice construction. The extra included pieces are nice to have. I put the steth around my neck and walked the halls of the hospital. What is that noise I keep hearing? OMG the steth is picking up hall sounds and amplifying them through the ear pieces. I know right? Stinking crazy!! I never experienced that with any of my many Littmans. My issues with the steth are two fold. It is clunky as all get out. I can’t think of a nice way to put it. The bell is so heavy you can use it to knock a would be carjacker out. Then you can use the steth to check his vitals. Don’t hit yourself with it! Number two is the product used for the tubing. Hey it’s great, feels nice and antimicrobial. Ok but when you sling the steth around your neck, it slides off the bell side. It does it in a sneaky way. You never feel it. I have caught the steth falling or about to from my neck. I can’t figure how to solve this problem. You walk in a room, do something for the client and you have to put the steth down or it’s going off the neck. Never fails! That being said GET IT!! Get it!! This steth is heaven sent, I just wish the head wasn’t so clunky. They should make one with a plastic head, but changing the design would probably take from the acoustics. If coworkers steal it? Well at least you know they are giving good care with the steth and we all win!

Excelente producto, usualmente uso mi litman y de hace tiempo quería este diseño blanco y oro rosa, que está marca no maneja y solo pocas marcas la manejan. Lo adquirí hace ya varios días Soy médico así que lo uso frecuentemente para mis pacientes con insuficiencia renal, para audición de alteraciones cardiacas y pulmonares como ramo de la Nefrologia, la campaña pequeña me sirve excelente para la audición de fístulas arteriovenosas. Al maletín se agrega una lámpara, no viene con pilas. Su accesorios viene con un foco extra, gomitas de cambio para los oídos y para la campaña principal. . El producto cumplió mis expectativas llego antes el vendedor resolvió mis dudas antes del envío. Tal cual en la descripción es el producto en físico, su diseño, lo comparo con mi litman Clásico III y son equiparables en calidad audición, peso. Viene en un maletín que uso para su cuidado y pase de visita. En lo personal se adaptan muy bien a los oídos no son molestos. En pocas palabras y después de uso diario en mis pacientes con ERC muy bueno. muy buena calidad, audición equiparable a otras marcas de estetoscopio, elegante. Me súper encanto!!
