What are the differences between the lite version and the regular Petcube Bites 2?

Bites 2 Lite has the same functionality as Bites 2 however, it does not support 5GHz networks and can only connect to 2.4GHz and also, it does not have a built-in Alexa. Unlike Bites 2 which is made of aluminum, Bites 2 Lite is lighter because it is made of hard plastic.

Can you use it on the go as in a hotel room ?

Hi, Thanks for reaching Petcube. It is not 100% guaranteed that it will work on a hotel Wifi. As there is no way to troubleshoot issues or change any network parameters. There may be firewall rules in place in hotel infrastructure that is blocking certain ports Petcube is relying on. Regards, Petcube Team

No, you don't have to subscribe but you will be limited on videos being saved

Is it supposed to make a screeching sound when dispensing a treat?

No…. Just a churning to treat out sound, like normal. I had that sound when I would open app so contact customer service. They replaced my unit for free:-). Hope this helps!
