A dog is wearing a santa hat while receiving a bath, but i don't see anything about it in the description. can this effectively clean santa hats?

No but it is necessary for your dog to wear one while using this product. Your dog will not get clean without it. For best results you should wear a grinch suit.

Can the shower head be disconnected from the hose? If so, what is the size of connector? I want to attach it to an existing hose that may be smaller

Hi Vicki, the blue sprayer head cannot be removed from the hose and the metal swivel hose connector at the end of the 8’ hose is made for a standard 1/2” connection. Let us know if you have any other questions!

How is the water pressure on the high setting?

Excedllent. Water pressure on the high setting is very good.
