I love brown sugar ginger tea. It makes sore throats feel better and helps me voice sound normal when my voice gets hoarse. I bought all these different brands because I couldn’t find the one my Chinese sister in law had purchased from Hong Kong and wasn’t sure what I was going to get. I compared the sizes side by side. I used boiling water for all 5 cups. This tea is the top right cup counter clockwise on the upper right with the tall jar in the background. You get 2 jars with the order and there were 8 cubes in each jar, all individually wrapped. This one had the regularly size cubes and was one of the longer ones to melt. There were nice ginger pieces in the tea and in the end was one of the cloudier teas of the group probably because of the ginger. The brown sugar taste is sweet but not too sweet. The ginger was one of the strong stronger ones compared to the other 5. It was pleasantly spicy and there is a moderately strong ginger taste to it. I like the individual packaging because I can pop one in my purse and take it with me to work or to add to any moment I have access to a cup of hot water. The ginger taste is strong and the teas has a full body to it as the cloudier tea tastes stronger. I would recommend this. It was one of my favorite teas in this comparison review because it serves the purpose of what ginger teas due for me because of the spicier ginger. However if you don’t like the cloudier tea or the ginger bits this may not be for you. See my other reviews to compare with the other teas.

Doesn’t taste bad but just have too much chunks once dissolved. Have to strain the liquid too many times just for me to enjoy it. It’s not worth it.

Brand I had on subscribe and save no longer available and tried this one - this one is just sweet and I can’t really taste the ginger.

I should have check the refund policy on this product before purchasing. This product has no ginger taste at all, but a funny taste that I dislike. I had many black/brown sugar ginger tea before, very strong ginger taste, that helps my sore throat and cough. This one is the worst, even a cheap ginger tea bag is better than this. Amazon should not display refundable with a link, very misinformed that this is refundable.

This is quite interesting. It says sugar cube, and it is, but I didn't realize that this would make quite the tasty tea! You do have to stir it quite a bit if following the directions of using it in a cup of hot water, but it does dissolve. Very tasty, it has nice ginger notes and is about as sweet as you would expect a sugar cube in a glass of water to be.Decent value for money. This would also make a great gift for anyone who is interested in foreign/exotic foods and treats.

Preparing these are pretty straightforward, and I had no issues actually getting it to turn out the way I believe it was supposed to. The taste of it is pretty alright, but it does taste slightly off. Maybe I'm just not used to this brand, but I would just say that it's okay at best. Leaves a bit of a weird after taste in my mouth as well which I'm not overly fond of. Taste is subjective though, so maybe you might like it more than I did.
