This is perfect in every way
This is clearly benzocaine. It is high-quality. One thing that I would tell people, is that if you order the reagent, you are going to need to dilute it with either 91% isopropyl alcohol if you’re going to be using it on your skin for Topical application, or benzyl alcohol or green alcohol. If you order the benzocaine hydrochloride, of course, you’re going to need to use something with a bit more water in it so that the Polar bits will dissolve. However, for what it is, it is absolutely perfect and just the right price!

It numbs but it’s very short lasting. By short I mean a minute.
Not happy with this product at all.

No numbing sensation
I have been buying benzocaine to create my own pain lotion for a few years now and I have no idea what the white powder is in the jar but it offers no pain relief and after mixing it in lotion and applying it I don’t notice any numbness to my fingers at all. I will purchase from previous orders.

Works in 90% rubbing alcohol
I desolate mine in 90% rubbing alcohol. A friend of mine had cellulitis on her leg. It was burning like fire. I had just ordered a 25g container of this for my hubby as a toothache pain reliever. I mixed some powder with rubbing alcohol. I noticed that it worked the best if I mixed it thick. For example: when I mixed it to completely clear liquid it wouldn’t numb as fast as it did when the liquid was foggy. But when I would pore the foggy liquid consisting of rubbing alcohol and benzocaine on her leg, she said the alcohol burned as it should but then the skin went numb and the stinging, burning pain would go away. It kept her leg from stinging/burning for just about 24 hrs before I would have to reapply. Hope this review helps.
