I bought these for my 19 year old JRT only because they are 100% cotton. Nearly all the others are a blend of man-made fibers that end up smelling awful no matter how often you wash them, no matter if you disinfect or make other efforts to get rid of the odor. 100% cotton is the only way to go. They are a tad small…all these dog t-shirts seem to run really small. I got the largest they offer, and it’s still a tad tight on my 15 lb JRT.

Shirts are nice and soft. They look cute in my little dog.

Really did like the way these fit Bubba, my “Dorgi” , Dachshund Corgi mix. He has short legs so sleeveless is perfect. But after washing the black and white tye dye, I noticed it looked smaller. Sure enough, it shrank, I have attached a picture . Would advise hang drying after washing, that’s what I will try with the next one, I may even try buying the next size up, just afraid the armholes may be too big. Material is soft enough, but not very stretchy.Bubba is 14 inches long and has a 20” chest circumference, and the large did fit him nicely.

I have purchased several of these in different sizes for my furry friends, elders and pups alike. These lightweight shirts are perfect for summer, they are lightweight and comfy. They are well made and wash well! The size guide is true.

My dogs like clothing. All of them. The nature of my dog clothing reviews has changed as they actually seem to prefer wearing clothing. They even seem to behave better when wearing clothing. It's strange.I've discovered there are some significant differences in pet clothing--especially it seems pet clothing that is delivered by Amazon. All pet clothing I bought locally--and it came from multiple stores and there are about a dozen pieces--was tagged and labeled as if it were human clothing. Beyond the normal and required country of origin tag, there is a "universal care and handling" tag as well as information that identifies the fiber contents of the material used. All of these things--to include the required country of origin tag--can be utterly missing from pet clothing delivered by Amazon.This product has zero information regarding its composition. It has zero care information. It is merely marked "CHINA" and "XL."The product description at the Amazon website presently says "100% cotton" but there is no way to confirm this given the product received to include its packaging. There is an attached care tag bearing the "fitwarm" name but the car instructions do not seem a bit unusual for 100% cotton. "Machine wash cold" "Wash in wool cycle" "Tumble dry low."I laundered it on "cool" as I do nearly all of the other dog clothing and tumbled it dry on "low." There was no noticeable bleeding, fading or shrinking when laundered with other similar items nor did it pucker or distort.It was wrinkled similar to cotton and to the feel I would call it something like a rather coarse cotton T-shirt that will likely soften with wear and repeated laundering.Fit was exactly what I expect given my known good measurements of the dogs.Note that I dried this on LOW heat. In my foreign travel experience T-shirts of similar feeling and looking material are well-known for shrinkage problems when subjected to typical American laundry practices, i.e. dry cotton on HOT.The overall rating is lacking two stars for the two missing pieces of information that I do deem important. Some may well consider it so important that they will not consider putting it on their pets. I have no reason to believe this product would be of any harm to any "normal" healthy animal who doesn't mind wearing clothing.

We bought the L and it fit great for our little guy! He's a pretty small Frenchie, only 23lbs and maybe 15" for length down his back. The XL was way too big and looked like a night gown on him. Love these tie-dye shirts! Super cute fit/style and as a bonus it helps keep him a little cleaner when he plays at the park. Only thing I would note is these shirts were cotton based and a little rougher than some of the other shirts we've bought from Fitwarm. Therefore they're a little less stretchy and forgiving.

Any more, I return more items than I keep. No exception here. I measured my dog carefully, and purchased the size that should have fit. But that didn't work, as what I got was not same size as I ordered. The fabric is very low quality....if you hold it up to the light you can see through it. They state it is cotton, but I don't think so, it just doesn't have the touch or feel of cotton. Just plain old junk, that doesn't fit and wouldn't be sold in a dollar store it is so bad.
