Better than book 1
So, I will say that while this book had its slow parts and dragged on a bit there was more action and plot than book one. The revenge was warranted and so treacherous. I think the Ted bits could’ve been a bit more prominent to setup what is to come but I can see how it leads to book 3. The Daniel stuff wasn’t and was a surprise—you can already guess half of what is going on with him but the rest was a bit despicable. It’s really hard to choose a “winner” with these guys as they each equally have feelings for Story and also are pushing her to break at the same time. They each use her and abuse her at their will but Story definitely fights back in this book. I love the housekeeper. But it was definitely better than book one. I almost DNF book one after three chapters but this book kept you hooked. The triggers are there but some are milder than book one even if this is darker than book one. Other triggers you might really want to look at before reading.

Dark and Disturbingly Great
4.5 ⭐️This book is more about Story's revenge after finding out about the "game" in book 1. I have to applaud the authors here because they don't pull any punches; the characters are all in on getting revenge on each other with the dark and twisted things they do. And while I do agree my girl needed revenge on those toxic guys to put them in their place, I cannot forgive her for what she did to Rath. That's the sole reason I am only rating it 4.5. I get she was most hurt by him emotionally and it felt like the biggest betrayal as Killian and Tristian were more upfront on how they treated her. However, her revenge was completely on Rath was completely unwarranted and disproportionate to what he did to her. I could not forgive Story for that.I do think the authors delivered on their warning to make this book even darker than their last. Between Story's revenge, the carving, the "performance" in the pit. All of it is so dark and twisted. And the fact that I liked it? Really has me questioning some things right about now.And I think Story did need to have that option of leaving in order to really cement the changes within their dynamic. It was so fun to see Story come back and how "freakishly agreeable" they were to her terms because they knew they would be heartbroken if she left again. Now I just can't wait to see how this story wraps up in the next book.

You will stay up to finish this book!
I READ THE THREE BOOKS IN FOUR DAYS!!!Ok so I just finished the third book for the lord series and I’m so glad I waited to write the reviews. The twist and turns of this book was everything I needed. This book is 100% touch her and you die. Also can we talk about the FMC story can hold her own and more. The four of them together is everything you need. Honestly having 2 authors write this series is amazing because nothing was missing.THE SPICE 🥵 🔥 felt like I was there.TThe second book was the perfect set up for the third book. You fall more in love with the characters with each book because you have a better understanding of their wants and needs for one another. Each is a piece of the puzzle to hold the home together.I can’t wait to read about the dukes!

guilty pleasure series
I will say i have really enjoyed this series so far the writing is decent and the characters are good enough thought out there are some pretty dark themes in this book which Is not for everyone the book has some cause and effect issues but no more than your average horror movie whichthis honestly for most people could be.Spice 6/10I do think that this could have been the last part in the Lords series i think personally it’s a little dragged out.

Almost Good.
Story 3/5Narration 4/5Lords of Wrath, by Samantha Rue and Angel Lawson was promising at the beginning. Story was finally showing some strength and was acting bravely . Then everything went down. One minute she was paying them back for everything they done to her, the next minute she was defeated (r@pe again) and traumatized worse than before. And the minute after that, she sacrificed herself for them. That’s too incoherent for me. All the protagonists are acting so strange, that I can’t even enjoy the steamy moments. But I’ll read the next book. I need to know how all of this nonsense will end.

I cried so much while reading this book! I gave ao many questions still! I had a lot of answers in this book from the first one and even some suspicions confirmed amd long awaited admissions between characters but there's still so much "Story" (lol get it?) to be found out! Highly recommend but is not a heart warming HEA so read at your own risk.

This dark and captivating tale explores the depths of vengeance, unveiling a narrative so intense that it demands your attention from the very beginning. As the sequel to the series, Lords of Wrath takes the reader on a journey that goes beyond the boundaries of the first book. From the outset, it's clear that this installment is not for the faint of heart. The authors skillfully navigate through darker subject matter, creating a narrative that is both disturbing and utterly enthralling. It's a testament to their storytelling prowess that they manage to balance the darkness with an irresistible allure that keeps you turning the pages. What sets this book apart is its ability to escalate the intensity as you progress. The halfway mark becomes a turning point where the narrative takes a darker twist, surprising even the most seasoned readers. The plot's intricacies start to interlock like a well-played chess game, revealing a cleverly woven story that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The characters in Lords of Wrath are complex, flawed, and utterly compelling. The Lords - Killian, Tristian, and Rath - are a trio of enigmatic figures whose motives are as shrouded in mystery as the shadows that surround them. The narrative skillfully peels away the layers, exposing their true selves and the game they've been playing since day one.The synopsis hints at a turbulent and intense story, and the authors deliver on that promise with unapologetic fervor. The emotional impact is so profound that it elicits ugly cries and breaks you, yet you find yourself unable to put the book down. The climax, around 55%, is a masterstroke that ties together all the moving pieces in a way that is both satisfying and heart-wrenching.The warning at the beginning of the book is not to be taken lightly. Lords of Wrath is a dark/bully romance that tackles sensitive and graphic content. Readers with triggers should approach with caution. The authors have woven a narrative that is not only a testament to their storytelling skills but also a brave exploration of themes that challenge the boundaries of conventional romance. In conclusion, Lords of Wrath is a gripping and intense read that pushes the limits of the genre. It's a testament to the authors' ability to create a narrative that is both disturbing and captivating, leaving readers with an unforgettable experience. If you're ready to embark on a journey into the shadows, this book is a must-read.

I loved it
Well, let me start with a warning, this book is not for the faint of heart. The authors have warned it, and it’s true, this one is darker than the first. Its no pretty little fairytale. AT ALL. Just as in real life the main characters are flawed, twisted and shall I say, a bit disturbed with a dash of cruelty. Yet, not all is black and white and even evil people have to acknowledge their feelings at some point, own it or accept psychopathy. This is a story about trauma, suffering, helplessness and ultimately about love (hey sick love is still love). Even though it is set in college it is a mature book, talks about adulthood, choices or the lack of and their consequences. I really loved it which says a lot about my twisted self. I’d reviewed the first book, usually I don’t review all series, but this one has left me speechless. So beautifully written. The storyline is flawless and the I’m pretty sure every single one of us have met guys like Killian, Tristian or Rath at some point in life. We still have a third one Im looking forward to, but let me just say I LOVED this ending. It was perfection. I absolutely recommend it.

It is DARK
This definitely falls under the penthouse diaries/ p@rn stories category. This is DARK. This is not romance, not erotica. Definitely unrealistic, totally fantasy.

This time it’s the Lords’ turn to get a taste of their own medicine…
Ok… so this was darker than the first book in this trilogy. Still it was very enjoyable. I did find that the first half did seem a bit slower in pace, however it did start to pick up and definitely delivered. So, after Story finding out what she did at the end of book 1. Here we find her planning her own revenge against the Lords. She’s sick and tired of them and all the torment they put her through. She’s read to start fighting back and that’s exactly what she does. They say revenge is a dish best served cold and Story delivers that to her Lords. Although she’s not completely cold towards them and she does feel a bit of remorse for what she does. But like Story says, they don’t deserve her guilt.Obviously, when the Lords found out of Story’s betrayal, they do not take it lightly. And the retaliation is something you couldn’t predict! We somewhat find out who this mysterious TED is. Or rather who he was for a little while. We then figure out that TED is now a different someone else entirely and even more dangerous.Even though, so far the Lords - Killian, Tristan & Rath - have been not the best of guys, We do see them develop. I think they’ve figured out that Story means more to them than just some possession and they want her to be with them, if she want to be with them; not because she is being forced to. In the end they give her a choice to leave which she takes…Also, as mentioned a bit above story takes her revenge on the Lords, which ultimately I think also shows her character’s development. She’s always been a survivor, but at first she took what they threw at her in order to survive. And by the end, of this book, we see that she is the one making the rules and telling her Lords how things are going to look for the future.
