I needed both devices to be online at the same time. I wired as directed using two of these splitters. The first computer worked fine and had fast speeds. But as soon as I connected the second computer the link went dead. Unhooking the second computer got the connection back, but this time instead of negotiating at 1000/full it was negotiating at 10/half. Speed was drastically reduced. Save yourself the aggravation and skip this one.

I’ve never experienced a more beautiful ethernet splitter before. The way it knows how to slip into the RJ 45 is remarkable.

This was not as I expected. Initially, I purchased it to split internet connection between two computers. I found it did not work as this is not the splitter you would want to use to do that. This splitter only splits the connection so that a full connection is not being received by each computer. I had to go with another Ethernet connector that would not split connection but duplicate it for both. The price was reasonable and it is durable but make sure the function is what you need it to.

This splitter seems to be of good quality. However it does not work for a Starlink dish connection as I had hoped. When I first hooked up the splitter it made the connection although it reduced transmission speed. On the 2nd day it failed completely. Again, I think this is specific to the Starlink connection.

They work good speed fast keep all my network runing I do recommend. I just have one Gig service. I do use it with the wall and switch to keep two router runing. One router bridge by pc and the second router is plug in. Both are connected to switch. Need one connect to switch and wall.

I plugged this in to my router to split my ethernet port to two instead of one and then used my trusty ethernet cords I was just using for my pc and nothing, I then tried to put my cord back to it's origianal orientation and my cord now does not work. I had two working ethernet cords until i tried to use this thing. now I have none. Do not get this if you dont want to replace your ethernet cords I hope it didnt fry my starlink ethernet adapter. It will cost me more to replace the wires and get another splitter already, the special adapter even more. not worth it to get a refund would have to pay as much as i spent to get it to send it back.
