Satin Bonnet for Black Women, Silk Bonnet for Curly Hair Wraps for Sleeping, Satin Scarf for Hair Wrapping at Night

This bonnet is so cute and comfortable. It is easy to put on. I love that it has very long pieces of fabric to tie around your head. I also love that it has a lot of space inside the bonnet. I have a lot of hair so it’s nice that my hair if it’s in there perfectly I have been using this bonnet for a little while now and I can definitely tell the difference when I wake up that my hair doesn’t look as dry. My hair is very curly and prone to breakage since I bleached it recently and I can say that my hair seems to stay shinier for longer, and that I am experiencing less breakage. I can see why people take wearing a bonnet to bed so seriously this spot it was worth the money that I spent on it in the fact that I think it’s saving my hair.

I love the color. I purchased this and my son stole it. So I bought him one in black. He bonnet stayed on all night and was not too tight. The strap secured it in place.

Okay I’m not usually this tough of a reviewer and initially I intended to give this bonnet 4 stars but this one has some issues that really need to be addressed. Here’s what I look for in a bonnet: Satin or silk Easy to put on Holds thick long curly big hair (3b- with some 3a) Adjustable Preferably Comfortable to sleep in Will not fall off in the middle of the night Double lined No transfer color or die (I oil my ends each night) Holds up in the wash Made for large heads My number one issue with the bonnet is it claims to be XL. Absolutely not. If you go to the store and try on a bunch of cute wide brim hats and majority of them don’t fit your head with your hair slicked down. Welcome to the big head club my friend. This bonnet will definitely not fit you. This bonnet is excellent quality satin and the seams are clean. It’s very well constructed and doubled lined!! I thought I was going to love this bonnet from the second I opened the package but unfortunately, aside from the quality there’s a lot that didn’t work for me personally. It is easy for me to put on at night (I sleep with my hair in a pineapple, then twirl the length of the hair around my satin scrunchie loosely without fastening). However, once on, the thick elastic band in the bonnet constricts my head so bad it leaves an imprint. All my hair does fit inside with being squished to my head and ruining my curls. I do like the tie on the bonnet because you can use it to secure the excess material on the top of bonnet your hair doesn’t take up. Some final points: The bonnet is secure and doesn’t fall off in the middle of the night. It is not comfortable to sleep in due to the ruching/ pleating (gathered material at bottom of bonnet). It hurts the back of my head when I sleep and bothers the crap out of my ears. ( I found you can pull all the material towards the front of your bonnet by your forehead and this makes the back and the part on the sides of your head lie flat). The dye doesn’t transfer at all from any hair products. It also does wash well! If you’re the type of person who hates anything lumpy around your head when you sleep then make sure you try the trick above. In the end I ended of keeping the bonnet because it was too much hassle to try and find another this good of quality and for big heads. I wish they had made the bonnet flat at the hem without all that gathered material it’s honestly so annoying. I made a few adjustments to mine you could try if your bent on keeping: I made cut incision inside the bonnet at the front and 2 incisions side by side by the back seam. I cut the elastic band out completely. ( it was so short I was shook! The bonnet will fall completely flat and look huge) This is what you want! Order stretch shoes laces (they’re elasticized) and you are going to filter the one side of the shoe lace through the front of the bonnet and hold the other side so it doesn’t go through (I tied one end of the shoe lace to a straw cleaner stick then filter the straw cleaner through my bonnet) filter the shoe lace through both small incisions on the inside of the back and keep going all the way to come out that front seam again ( tie the shoe laces together like you would tie your shoe at a size that is comfortable for you head size. The bonnet material will gather back together like the original product you received. Congrats! you now have your own custom size bonnet that you can adjust whenever you like. ( I tuck the shoe lace bow into the front seam). The bonnet is perfect now! I hope this super long review will help you guys out! ——- Update: I am giving one not star purely for customer service as they reached out to me and were super nice in offering to refund me since it didn’t work out. They asked me how they could better improve their product and what my personal suggestions were. I still don’t recommend this bonnet in its current state and the bonnet itself is a 3 star item at best but their service bumps it up to 4 stars.

We love a good bonnet that protects your hairrrrr. The only thing I would complain about is how tight the elastic band is it leaves a mark on my forehead in the morning. I have purchased other bonnets to avoid feeling like my brain is being squished. It had a lot of space and room though if you got a lot of hair

I don't know if I should be offended that the product states X-Large everywhere, while feeling too small for my head. As if my head is abnormally XXL or something. I'm gonna say no, the seller is just misinforming the costumers. I would say the headband is Medium in size. As for the bonnet itself - I wasn't amazed by the results, but it definitely keeps my curl a little bit better than just straight on the pillowcase. I'll keep using it as a shower hat for now. Just keep in mind that if you're a little on the bigger head side - this one will hurt to sleep in, give you headaches and leave a mark on your forehead. The 3 stars are for the quality and accuracy in color, definitely pretty like the picture, the big wraps are flattering and keep the bonnet in place.

I am very pleased with this bonnet. I’m a crazy sleeper and my bonnets or hair wraps never stay on. This one has stayed in place for multiple nights already and it’s super cute. The only complain I have is it leaves creases on my forehead. I need to find a way to avoid that. However, i is not tight nor does it make my head hurt. Other than that it’s perfect. 11/21/23 Update: I still love that this bonnet keeps my hair healthy and my blow out is still intact. However, I had to go back to a regular wrap because it left dent marks on my forehead from the elastic. Wish this could be fixed.
