Worked perfectly for what I needed
Very happy with this purchase. Clearly from the reviews, consistency varies. I had a can previously that had been stored on the shelf for about a year, and was hard as a rock when opened. The new can I purchased on Amazon was a perfect clay consistency, not too runny or hard, very easy to work with. I used it to hold in a pipe that was popping out of it’s socket and causing my car to run loudly. I let it sit for 48 hours, and have been driving with it for about 2 weeks; it’s so far held up perfectly. I generally don’t drive more than a couple of miles at a time, so I can’t speak to longer distances, but for what I need, it’s definitely done the trick!Edit: it’s now been about 3 months and the repair is still holding up!

Works well
I just put it on the broken seam of our muffler for the 3rd time (once a year), yes, would be better to just replace it, but everything else looks good. Lasts for about one year on mine. I did get one container that was Already partially hardened. The seal had broken, but still had just enough for the job. Only con...packaging is not consistent.

Old stock
Good stuff... too bad more than half was rock solid. Barely enough for finishing the job. Seller not contacted.

Saved me $2900
The repair shop wanted $2900 to replace my entire exhaust systemI drive a 2009 Chrysler Aspen SUV and I don’t think it’s worth $2900 if I were to sell it. I’m a 70 year-old woman, and I easily get under the car and patch the holes in the muffler!Instructions were easy, and now my car runs much quieter. Great product.Lasts me about 6 months and then I buy patch again. Well worth it!

Worked great to seal the seam on my muffler
The muffler on my minivan had a leak along the seam. It was sounding pretty loud. I applied this product along with entire seam of the muffler, and let it sit for two days just to make sure it was cured. It’s been a month since I did the repair, and this product is still holding tight and my muffler is fixed.

Used?
Item had a broken seal, was half empty and was severely hardened to the point I was unable to use it! Purchased product a month ago and had no issues, wasn't so lucky this time around.

Its dose a Job ! 12$ vs 500$ repair
Product arrived New not opened twist plastic cane.Repair Place rear muffler/ resonator welding area (VW) welding material chip product.Relative difficult area to access and applied product : Zero assembly required.Product applied on top of muffler entire side 3-4 mm thickness; after 1 Hour product settles down to Smud application 2-3 mm tick 3 cm wide and 40 cm long strip on top of muffler hand touch reedy . I will recommend to order two cans and applied to entire veld surface to bi Shure and save min 500$ for other repair.Update 11/15/22: Application applied in Jun and still holding no cracks.

Worked very we;;
it hardens very well when you run the car it is thick too so you can build up a shape to close the hole mine was a full crack so I put a band clamp on then covered it all with the muffler weld sealer.
