Quality of the ink is great!

This product is amazing and produced fantastic results. Hiipoo has an ICC profile for their sublimation ink that is a digital color management file (.icc or .icm) that ensures accurate color reproduction when using the Hiipoo ink and paper with a converted printer (like Epson EcoTank ET-2400), which is what I used it with. The print out on the sublimation paper looks a bit duller but when applied to the fabric, looks amazing! I have been using the same ink for the past year. I print a purge sheet every week or 2 to ensure the ink does not dry out and even doing this the ink lasts forever! When I print I ensure I print at high quality. I will definitely be buying again in the future.

The Hiipoo 3.6.0 — a name perhaps better suited for an Icelandic electronica duo — surprised me in the best possible way. I’ve worked with dyes and pigments before. On canvases of sound, sure, but also on paper, fabric, and the occasional tea-stained letter. This ink? It’s like it knows what it’s doing. Loaded it into the SG1000 — a sublime piece of kit, by the way, almost meditative in its hum — and was met with clarity. Saturation like an old lover’s gaze. No streaking. No hesitation. Just color, true and intent on being remembered. You see, art — real art — demands trust from your tools. And I found myself trusting this. The blacks were brooding. The reds? They whispered. Even the cyan — usually the joker in the palette — behaved with unexpected dignity. Is it perfect? Well, nothing ever is. But it feels like a companion. And in the quiet rhythm of creative work, that’s the highest compliment I can offer
