When I peeled back the golden seal of the Sheba Perfect Portions Delicate Salmon Entrée, it was as if I had opened the gates to Valhalla’s dining hall—but for cats. The aroma rose like a royal summons, and my orange tabby, who usually stares at me with the disdain of a UBC philosophy prof, suddenly transformed into a knight kneeling before the crown. My cat—once a picky eater who scorned lesser brands—devoured this feast with the fury of a thousand tiny lions reclaiming their ancestral throne. The twin pack tray? A battle-ready ration system: one portion for the dawn raid, one for the twilight victory feast. No crumbs, no hesitation—just pure devotion. When the last bite was gone, my cat sat upon the windowsill, chest out, gaze proud, as if he had conquered empires and secured his legacy. I liked having a sample to try on Midge my cat who adopted us 3 years ago but can be a fussy eater. And because she is fussy, I always keep some hard food out to give her an alternative. She loves Sheba especially this new Salmon flavor as much as I hate opening the Sheba cans with my old, arthritic hands. So of course she wins. I have never seen her clean her bowl so completely so I will have to buy her more.

My cat loves this flavor and the texture of Sheba food. Something happened to this though and it had a strange smell when I opened it. It did not look like it was supposed to also. The Pate is supposed to be formed and when I opened this it was like mush. Probably will not get this again here.

Sheba is a great little treat for your fur baby that opts for a dry, kibble diet...... but everyone loves a treat not and then. These little packs pop in the middle making 2 good to the last drop portions. We end out day with a little Sheba treat before the evening kibble.

I ordered this for my convenience. However my cat was also very happy! She usually eats dry food, if that helps any. It comes in two individual servings and you can snap it in two down the middle, which is nice (no need to stink up room with the wetfood packaging). We'll save the second serving for another day. The serving size itself (1.3oz each) is less than the canned food (with soda style lid) i normally give her. Plus the package is plastic with foil lid. A lil easier to recycle imo. I ordered this as a "amazon add-on" item to reach the 25$ free shipping cost. I dont know if it was a mistake, but they sent me two packs of 12 total 24 packs of cat food! When my package came, the box containing cat food fit perfectly (no tumbling inside main box). Perhaps thats why it was sent as so? Maybe mistake. I will return the rest if asked to.
