Easy to apply and works well for knee and leg pain. I ordered another yesterday and a different product came called recovery pain, but it has the same 8% menthol that the original has, so I will use this one and hopefully the next one will be the same as I ordered The only thing I notice a lot is they keep raising the price on this and every time I brose through the pain items, there is always ones a lot cheaper to purchase. I like this cream, but if it keeps going up, I will have to buy from someone else

I have several different kinds of pain and I am currently going to a pain management clinic trying to get help. I have tried many things over the years in an effort to find something - anything - that would actually work to provide pain relief for chronic migraines, arthritis, degenerative disc disease in my spine, neuropathy, etc. I have tried many topical creams, including creams with 4% lidocaine and one prescribed by my doctor, but I'm always searching for something else that is better. I found this cream on Amazon and decided to try it out. I have been more than pleasantly surprised by how well it works. I mostly use it on my neck (where I recently had a cervical fusion), my lumbar spine, and my hands for the arthritis. I can't tell you how long it lasts because I haven't timed it, but I can tell you that it does help me and it does provide pain relief. In all honesty, it's more efficacious than I expected it to be, so this was a very happy surprise. My husband has psoriatic arthritis and I will be giving him some to try, as well. I would definitely tell you that if you have pain issues, it's worth a try.

We went to Pennsylvania - Amish country a few months ago and I happen to find this cream at a shop there- I'm so glad I tried it and purchased it. It is some amazing stuff!!! Really folks, I have tried over 10 other Arthritis, sore muscles creams and ointments and nothing compares to this stuff. First let me start by the smell- no so over bearing... yes, you smell the menthol but it's not as strong as others. I purchased the cream not the ointment, it goes a LONG way. The 3.5 oz cream lasted me almost 1 1/2 months using it sparingly every night and rubbing it on my shoulders. You really only need a little bit. After you initially put it on you immediately feel a relief in your sore areas (for me it's arthritis) and a calmness over your body, it's hard to explain but my husband said the same thing. Now I find myself needing it sometimes not so much for pain but for the calmness. What more can I say but you have to try it for yourself and hopefully you will have a positive experience! This clearly is an excellent product and the price on Amazon is better than what I paid in Pennsylvania.

What Didn't Work For Me, Would Work For Them!!!

Let me start by saying, if you are using this for a mild to moderate pain issue, then it might be fine in terms of pain relief. I personally have fibromyalgia though so I have extremely excruciating pain. This lotion barely touches the pain to be honest. The reason that I did not give it one star though is if you were a person with very moderate pain, maybe this would work. Also I caution you test it on an area of your skin before applying it in mass amounts... Reason I say that is I'm quite confused, as this item had stellar reviews. I did not see anything about it feeling like your skin was burning off your body in any of the reviews. I don't know if it was just me, or if I had a bad batch, but the item burned terribly after I put it on my back. I don't have sensitive skin or anything, but the three times I tried using this item I actually had to take a shower and wash it off as I couldn't stand it any longer. I mean I'm willing to do anything to get rid of this pain, so I will go to extreme measures. That's why I was willing to even deal with the burning sensation for as long as I did, but if I was a person that could pop an Advil and feel better there's no way I would ever turn to this item EVER. But like I said maybe that was just a reaction that I had as I try to make my reviews as unbiased as possible, but I felt that it would be dishonest not to reveal what had happened to me. I will say though, thank God as it did not leave burn marks on my skin. I'll say though I was very surprised it did not. Also if you're a person that this actually works for and does take away your pain, my one caution is not to put it anywhere near your face. As when I had the item on the back of my neck the burning feeling was so bad and it made my eyes water profusely as well. For me this item is a no-go and I would never buy it again. Everybody has their own opinions though.
