Loved this order! Enough seeds to share with a friend! Lots of fun watching them go from seed to flower. Which doesn’t take that long. Every seed germinated! Such fun!

I bought an aquarium to keep these in because I had to keep changing the water every two days because of the smell. So they now have filtered water. They sprouted, floated up to the top and formed little pads but they never made flowers before they finally died.

100% growth rate

I did a test run and put 7 seeds in a small cup. Only 2 have sprouted in 1-2 week with water being changed 1-2x per day. 2 are sprouting, 1 looks moldy, 1 floats, 3 are staying dormant. Pretty low yield imo. I’ll keep the other seeds in there until the 2 are really mature just to see.

I received the lotus seeds four days ago and wanted to give a review of what I received and how everything went. I purchased 100 lotus seeds and received 102 seeds. I put them in a container of warm water and saw 30 of them floated. I have heard that if they floated, they are not likely to germinate. I separated the floating ones and the ones that sank to the bottom. I changed water every day and placed it outside for sun exposure and warm weather. Of the 30 that floated, 5 germinated. Of the 70 that sank, 60 germinated. Some of the ones that initially floated did sink but only a small number germinated. I think it’s of fair value since about 75 germinated for $15.

So far every seed has grown! Waited til the first leaves opened then transferred them to our small and they have continued to put multiple new shoots. Doing awesome!

Almost all seeds germinated in 2 days! I love that the seeds came pre-cut :) Even some of the ones that floated grew. Make sure you change the water completely everyday until the leaves start to open… the water will get gross and smell extremely bad until they grow a little. ENJOY!!

These bulbs did not germinate. I even bought the special soil. They are small bulbs and I read the directions. Would not purchase again.
