Great reel! I know it’s a lot of money for a reel but it’s sooo much fun! I bought a scorpion like 3 years ago and started taking it wade fishing in my local streams and rivers for smallmouth and I’m telling you I can throw 1/15 oz ned rigs a country mile! 1/8 oz beetle spins, pshhhh launch city! You won’t regret it!

Reel arrived with bent handle, I expect better quality from SHIMANO, will reorder a new one, fingers crossed… Update, received second Curado and everything looked until I removed the two removable magnets, one came out fine but the second came out in two pieces, the little spacer at the bottom of the magnet well not properly glued down.I managed to put back in but can not remove without it coming out again. Sent it back and will be looking elsewhere, very disappointing

I like the reel very much. It’s a bait caster finesse reel. It will handle all the small baits that I use on my finesse spinning set up but in a bait caster. The outside box that it was packed in was fine. However when I opened the reel box itself I found the reel outside the plastic bubble wrap and not secured within the reel box. It was as if someone had returned it and it was resold or it was the display model which they should have said something. Luckily as of right now the reel works fine.
