GLENCAIRN Whiskey Glass Water Pipette - Water Dropper for the Glencairn Whisky Glass

I haven't yet tried this, but got it as a gift for my Step-dad for Father's day. He and I have gotten into bourbon since Covid started, and I like higher proofs, while he likes lower proofs. Figured this would be a good way for him to see if he enjoys the higher proof whiskies I have, and have heard that these dropper typically reduce proof about 1p per drop or so. Glass is well made, and feels durable. Heavier then you'd think. Took me a second to figure out where the hole was, but now it makes sense. The embellishment on the top is a nice touch as well. All around, it's the same high quality that has become expected from Glencairn!

I used this pipette to add just a few drops of water to a pour of 1792 Full Proof and wow—the flavors opened up beautifully! It really brought out hidden notes and made the tasting experience so much more dynamic. Surprisingly, it also made me appreciate the full proof neat even more. A small tool that makes a big difference—I highly recommend it for anyone serious about bourbon or whiskey tasting.

Sehr edel und optisch ein Hingucker. Die Anwendung erklärt sich von selbst und als Geschenk kam es sehr gut an. Ein "Muss" für jeden Scotch-Liebhaber.

Bought this for the hubs. It works as it’s suppose too but in my opinion it’s a little pricey for the purpose. I say you can skip it and just use a spoon of water unless of course it’s the image that matters to you.

This does a great job of adding a little water to your whisky without drowning it. Just wish it came in some form of case for storage as it feels quite fragile.

Very happy with how carefully they packaged this, as you can tell it is very delicate. Arrived safe and sound, it's a Christmas gift for my husband, he wanted this.
