Living in Minnesota, it's challenging to keep plants happy in the winter. But, I've noticed more and more pink and blue glowing lights in the windows in my neighborhood and thought there must be something to it.This light was on sale during the holidays, so I took a chance and am glad I did! Within just a few days, my peace lily had three blooms, and a couple of outdoor plants I was trying (and failing) to overwinter have revived! Those are the most remarkable outcomes, but all the plants love this light.The adjustable height tripod + adjustable arms work perfectly for both tall (4') and small (12") plants.The only downside is that I wanted to use a smart plug to have it automatically turn on at sunrise, but the light needs to be turned on via the power button or remote, so I can only turn it off with the smart plug. There is a timer with 4, 8 and 12 hr increments, but I would prefer to have it turn on before I wake up. That said, it's still working wonders!

For fifty-plus years, my wife and I raised house plants using just natural sunlight.This fall, I repurposed a spare room upstairs to include a fly-tying center bench & storage area. It looked a bit barren so I decided to add some plants.Took some cuttings from the wife's 'Wandering Jew' downstairs and started a pot of my own. It seemed to start growing almost immediately, but very slow. Finally I decided to try a grow lamp. We've only had this one less than a month set up along a side wall in our dining room. Not quite content with just the two 'Jews', I bought more houseplants. The wife has started calling me "George (of the Jungle"). Sounds hard to believe, but I can see the plants' growth difference almost on a daily basis!It won't be long and I can transfer them all upstairs into their new home. I'll even have enough room on the new plant stand to start some from seeds/seedlings AND some for pre-planting in our container garden. Get a jump start on the spring growing season - looking forward to it. BTW: My name is not George.

The lights are very adjustable, you can change color of the lights, change the the number of lights on at a time, change the direction the lights point, it has a timer to adjust the length time lights are on. I contacted customer service to help me with a challenge I had with the light. Customer service was very easy to deal with and responsive to my questions. The company backs their product and is always there to assist you. I highly recommend this light and the company selling this product.

These lights are perfect for the short Minnesota winter days. Set up took me 3 minutes, plugged it in and set it for 4 hours, it was off when I woke up so it works as I need it to! Says if you leave it plugged in it will turn on for the same 4 hours the next night so we'll see!

I have been using this grow light for about a month now. I live in Wi. and we have some really grey days in the winter. My plants are looking very happy and are even growing, not just surviving. The only downside is that I now have to water more often! I moved some of my potted herbs along with several geraniums and a lavender plant inside and I continue to harvest rosemary, basil, thyme and oregano to use in cooking. So fun to be able to have fresh herbs all winter.

I bought these lights for this dark corner I have at my apartment. I have a lot of tropical plants that need lots of indirect sunlight every day. It's easy to adjust it in terms of height so it can fit how you want it to. I like that it has different setting for brightness and even the tipe of light. Mine is always at its highest and I set the timer for 8 hours ever day. I've had this lamp for 6 months now and I've had no issues. The only thing is that the timer might move a bit here and there but I don't resetting it when that happens. In terms of energy efficiency, I'd say its excellent. Great grow lamp that's budget friendly!

Light itself working fine for the plants. When you see the word "timer", you might think you can set it to come on at a certain time and go off at a specific time. Not quite the case. Whenever you want the light to come on, you turn on the light and choose either 4, 8 or 12 hours, and that is how long it stays on. For example, you wanted it to come on at 5 a.m., you need to turn it on at 5 a.m. and then choose the timer. Also, if the power goes off for any length of time, or if you unplug the light, the "timer" resets. Same if you have it set to be on all the time, if power goes out, you have to manually turn it back on. Not good or bad, just need to be aware of it.If you look at the timers on most of the other brands on Amazon in this price range, they all look like they are made by the same company and operate the same.

I’ve had it for a few weeks now and it definitely is making a difference for my plants, they love it. I love the timer feature. The cord could be longer but oh well. As far as energy efficient, I guess I’ll find out next month when I get the bill. But I do recommend for plant lovers.
