Nice shape, sturdy cutter that seems like it will hold up well. I used it to cut out fondant for upright cupcake toppers and this was the perfect size. Only issue was that it arrived a bit crooked in that I had to press extra on one side to get it to cut all the way around. Not a big deal once you realize it needs to be done.

Loved the Mermaid Tail cookie cutter!! The Ballet Gala in our town this spring was The Little Mermaid. This cookie cutter caught my eye on Amazon. It performed beautifully. They looked darling on the tray with the different colors of rolled fondant decorated with the scales and fin look topped with luster dust. People raved about those cookies!! I ordered this cookie cutter to use to make cookies for a child's birthday party, it got other uses than just cookie making. It was used to draw around when I needed a mermaid tail, it was used to pour pancake batter in to make perfect mermaid tail pancakes. It is sturdy and a nice weight for a metal cookie cutter, I've both had & seen some before that were flimsy and easy to bend.
