Tetra Betta Flakes 0.81 oz, 85 ml

We tried a different, pellet-type of food and our poor fish got a swollen belly and wasn’t looking great. We tossed that in the trash and have been exclusively using this food. It’s great! Our fish looks forward to feeding time and gobbles this right up. His coloring is beautiful and he’s nice and healthy. No swelling or anything. The only issue is that if you have a filter, these flakes are easily pushed down from the surface of the water and can them leave your tank a mess. I DIY’d a feeding ring made of plastic straws (Pinterest) since the standard ones sold on Amazon wouldn’t work quite right in our curved tank. That helps keep the flakes contained for the fish to eat, and keeps them at the surface longer. The only criticism I have is of the packaging. The way the kid to the bottle screws on, it leaves room in the thread area. So if this bottle accidentally gets tilted or knocked over, you’re going to have a flake explosion next time you unscrew the lid.

I highly recommend getting these for your beta fish they love them!! They don’t get the tank very dirty and have some great ingredients. I like that they are small and easy to eat and a quarter of the price of what they usually are at the pet store.

The media could not be loaded. I tried the thr BettaMin small pellets but my fish didn't care for them. So I got these instead. They are smaller than I wanted, I wanted more goldfish size I think. But he loves them and they keep the tank cleaner than the regular pellets did.

My betta refuses to eat the hard pellets but likes this flake food. Gets the job done!
