Yes you can. Treat it like a tongue scraper. Throw one out after a couple of months.

Is this scrubber little firmer in one side?

The blue side is a little more stiff but not terrible

How can I store the mitt? After using, where is the best place to leave it?

After each use, please make sure the mitt is thoroughly clean and all product used is rinsed off. Then hang it anywhere they would like within the shower.
